Caroline Bingley was tired of the conventional way of seduction, so she appealed to witchcraft. But, unfortunately, things didn't go as well as she wished.

Puppy Darcy

Elizabeth Bennet was going back to her sister's room when she saw that the library door was open. It was a little improbable that someone would be there by that time of night, but being the curious creature she was she couldn't help herself, but look inside. And how amazed she was when she found there a beagle cub walking all around the place.

She tried to get closer to the dog, but the young animal seemed uninterested in her help for when she got closer enough of the puppy, it growled.

- Well, little one, as weird as this situation may be, you'll have to trust me as you'll not find here anyone who may help you. – Elizabeth knelt as to look harmless to it.

The puppy stared at her with those sapphire eyes of it, deciding if accepts her help or not. After a long time, it walked slowly in her direction, showing how apprehensive it was.

And only then, the maiden took a real chance to observe it. This young southern hound was very different from the others dogs she has seen before. This one had intense blue eyes, a slender form and a charming brown fur that covered its entire being, making him look somehow elegant and noble. Well, at least as noble and elegant as a dog could look.

Taking the canine in her arms, she let her mischievous eyes scan the room as if looking for someone else, finding no one at all.

The situation was very weird indeed. How did this little one get inside? Was it one of Mr. Bingley's dogs? Well, it could be, but he would never let one of them inside, for Miss Bingley was extremely allergic of dogs. She would have continued her inner debate, if not for a noise coming from outside; turning around Elizabeth saw near the door a young maid looking at her a little perplexed.

- Oh my God, Miss Bennet, is that a dog?

Elizabeth was going to answer her when she heard something that sounded like an annoyed sigh from a very annoyed puppy. Hearing that, the second daughter of the Bennet's family did the only thing she could: she laughed, hard. Poor cub, how many adventures has it passed today?

The brunette was too busy laughing that she didn't see the weird look the housemaid thrown at her as she passed by and the fascination that seemed to emanate from the dog's eyes.

When Lizzy entered her sister's room, she didn't know exactly what to do about the young dog, but by the morning she would be found sleeping peacefully on a chair near Jane's bed with a happy puppy lost in her embrace.

The Puppy and its Lady

Good afternoon,

My dears I couldn't help myself, but write this fic about a puppy Darcy. Humor is not my speciality, but I'll try my best. As for my other fic of P&P, I have to say I'm working on chapter two and hope to post it here soon. Anyway, thank you very much for your reading and enjoy!

Sincerely,

The Good Savage.
