Woo, new story! I must admit that I do have softer spot for Felix because I totally adore Daniel Cudmore. He is such an awesome actor.

This particular story is planned to only be five chapters long, with an additional short epilogue with an awesome plot twist that I'm planning on putting out at the same time as the first chapter of the longer story I have planned that is indeed connected to this short bit of events.

I hope you enjoy reading this introduction to my newest main character, Dahlia Vincent.

"Tell me why I came to Italy with you again." Gemma asked. Well it was actually more of a statement, but oh well. I just smiled and stuck my tongue out at her.

"Because you weren't gonna let me run around in Europe on my own." I reminded her. Yes, I had just turned twenty and yes, we were both juniors in college, but we had scheduled this trip back when I was still nineteen. Obviously, she hadn't actually considered that.

When we reached our room, we set our bags down and looked around. We were only staying for five days and decided to take advantage of a Junior Suite in the Park Hotel Le Fonti, just several minutes down a hill from the city.

"Let's go see if the view is as gorgeous as the pictures." I said eagerly, opening a window by the bed and leaning out.

"Oh. My. Goodness. Gem…Gem, come over here!"

Gemma came over and had the same reaction. "Wow. This is incredible."

"Oh, I hope it snows a little while we're here!"

Gemma snorted. "Dahlia, five days. Only five days."

"Party pooper."

We took our coats off and started unpacking. "Oh wait." I said. "We forgot to flip a coin to see who gets the bed first."

The whole reason we chose to stay five days was that if we left in the morning on the fifth day, that gave us four days to spend in Volterra. With the Junior Suite, we would alternate who got the bed and the sofa bed.

We're big fans of doing things evenly.

"Oh. You're right." Gemma replied. She fished around in her pockets until she found a quarter. "You ready?"

I nodded. "I call tails."

She flipped and we bent down to the floor to see the result.

"Damn. It's heads." I said.

"Yes! The older one wins again!" Gemma exclaimed.

"Oh, hush up."

We unpacked the rest of our things in silence. When we finished, we flopped our butts onto the couch, still silent.

"So what are we doing exactly?" I asked. Gemma hit me.

"Owwww…"

"You're the one who wanted to come here! You did it without a plan! Now you will suffer the consequences of my physical wrath!"

I don't claim the rights to the Twilight series, just my characters.

This story should be finished fairly quickly, which should give me enough time to write the opening chapter of the longer story.
