Chapter 1
Ten minutes before she almost died.
Eva Luna was yelling at her little brother Eric because he had ripped her home work.
''Eva Luna stop yelling at your brother!'' mom said from the kitchen
''but he ripped my home work'' I yelled back
''then do it again '' she replied
I can't believe it mom gets mad at me when it Eric's fault.
Sometimes I just think mom doesn't love me but I know she loves me a lot.
''Eric get down here and watch T.V. will your sister dose her home work'' mom said.
''okay mommy'' Eric said
A few minutes later the fire alarm went off and I heard a scream I ran to where it came from to see dad fall to the ground he was on fire.
''help'' dad yelled but mom was screaming and Eric was crying I was frozen but when I saw the wall beside mom and Eric cot fire I screamed
''Mom Eric move'' but it was too late the wall collapsed on them.
I ran next door and called the police five minutes later they were putting out the fire they came out with three bodies I ran to one of them and asked if they were going to be okay but he said ''maybe your mommy but your daddy and brother won't make it.''
''What? But they have to make it'' I said back he just shrugged. Dad and Eric have to make it they can't die after a few hours the police, firefighters and ambulance left. Nothing was left except me and Miss. Grace the women I asked if I could use the telephone to call the police. Miss. Grace is a young lonly women in her 30's.
''wold you like to live with me for now?'' she asked
''sure'' i replied and just like that i walked in to the house as if i did it all the time.
