Hello! I do not own Harry Potter characters or settings. They belong to J.K. I've added a few of my characters. Ok. Enjoy!

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Sirius Black woke up to the very insistent shaking by his sister and her happy screeches. "Sirius!" Do you know what day it is?" she asked him in her happy-go-lucky voice in his ear. "Sunday?" He answered. "No, it's Wednesday. But, close enough! It's your birthday!" At that, he jumped out of his twin bed with blue quidditch coverings and raced down three flights of stairs, tripping occasionally, but you know 11-year-old boys and their birthdays! He raced into the kitchen, then slid on the black and white, spotless linoleum right in front of his mother. "Honey! What's gotten into you?" Connie Black asked laughing at her son's antics. "Guess what day it is, mum!" he said slyly sinking into a large brown chair with a red cushion for the bum. He looked around the large kitchen. The cabinets were oak and had silver handles. The counters were white with a few broomstick figurines and one quaffle shaped cookie jar. This was the Black's family kitchen The other was the help's kitchen where they actually made food. "Um.Wednesday?" His mother asked sinking into one of the chairs and sipping her coffee with two hands. Connie Black was a very beautiful woman with shoulder length reddish hair, and bright green eyes( I know, I know! You're thinking, "Connie is almost exactly like Lily Evans! Well she's not! For one thing: she's about twenty years older, maybe more!) and a small triangular shaped face. She was about 5"6 with size 9 shoe. "Yes, but that's not the answer I was looking for!" he laughed along with his mother. Just as he was about to say more about his birthday, he was cut off by a brown tawny owl that fluttered into the kitchen by the patio doors. It landed on Sabrina's usual chair, then hopped down when it noticed it was too high for Sirius to reach. Sirius looked at his mother, who nodded encouragement, and reached forward to slip off the large tannish envelope. His sister walked into the kitchen at that moment, yawning and stretching, She was dressed in a forest green t, that matched her eyes, and some white shorts. Sabrina walked forward and sat in her usual spot. She noticed the scene before her, right as she reached for her plate of bacon and buttered toast. At that point, she froze until Sirius had untied the letter and the owl moved again. She woke up from her trance when Sirius just looked at his letter, without a single hint of appreciation for the owl and hooted. She picked up a piece of bacon, and broke it in half. She reached out with her short, but long hands for a 10 year old and watched as the owl took it and hooted in appreciation.
