I absolutely love Ace and Fanny! So why not ship them? Admittedly, I do prefer 60/86 but this ship could be cute. I think Fanny's eyes are green, but I saw Brave and noticed that Mérida (?) looked a bit like Fanny so now she's a blue-eyed red-head. For the 100 theme challenge~#37 Eyes.
Ace Garcia was the handsome fly boy that swept every girl off their feet. He could charm any girl in the world, including the ever angry red-head Fanny Fulbright. He remembered the first day that he saw her face and those distinct icy blue eyes.
He was casually strolling in the park with his little sister, Alice, when his shaded brown eyes fist saw her red hair. That was the first thing he noticed, her fiery red hair. It stood out from the bright green leaves of the trees and grass and the blue of the clear blue sky.
Sure, he had heard rumors that the red-head was a like stick of dynamite that was always lit, but he never believed them. He always held a cocky attitude that he could date anyone and everyone he wanted too. Why should he believe the rumors that spread about her? He'd never even saw her face before, yet there was a rumor that she had a deadly beauty about her and sharp icy blue eyes that could kill. He'd heard that those blue eyes could kill anyone on sight.
Why should he, of all people, believe rumors? There were tons of false rumors about him. It was told that he was a heartbreaking player who only cared about hisself. That wasn't true in the slightest bit. He wasn't a heartbreaker or a player. He was just a simple guy who was handsome. He just so happened to be a guy who couldn't hold a relationship for more than three weeks and was always able to get a new girlfriend. He didn't only care about himself, either. He cared about a lot of people, such as his little sister and his best friends, Hoagie, Wally (if Wally ever read this he's barf, then kill me!), and Kuki. He knew better than anyone than to believe what you hear in the hallways or what's written on the bathroom walls.
His little sister had gone off to play with someone her age, and he was alone when she turned around. Her clear icy blue eyes locked with his warm brown eyes. It was as if she could see through his shades. Ace could feel his breath leave his body, momentarily. For a while they just stared at each other, neither of them moving or blinking. Thousands of questions were forming in his head, but there were two statements. 1.) The rumor about her being beautiful was definitely true. 2.) She had pretty eyes. He got lost over and over in them. They put any and all other blue eyes to shame.
Slowly, he raised a hand to his shades. In a dramatic moment, he took them off and smiled at her. She gave a confused glance at him and then walked toward him. "Why are you staring at me?" she asked. Ace quickly noted the Scottish accent in her voice. A blush spread across his cheeks like a wildfire.
"Why are you staring back?" he asked. A blush formed on her freckled face. Quickly, she shook her red hair everywhere and closed those beautiful eyes. "You're a really pretty girl," he said, attempting to say something to get her to look his way again. This statement made Fanny's eyes pop open. She smiled at him and started walking away.
"By the way, you have pretty eyes," he called to her. The blush on Fanny's freckled cheeks grew a shade darker. She turned around and marched back to him.
"You do too," she said softly. Then she turned and left him alone in the park. All he could think about for the next couple of weeks were her eyes and that voice.
