I'm sorry
Pairing: Dean x reader

Warnings: character death
I walk across the forest floor, the leaves crunching beneath me. I steady my bow as I aim it at a helpless deer. Breath in, breath out. The deer lifts his head, sensing an unbalance in the air. He ready's his feet, waiting for the threat. It was now or never.
I breath in and out once more, than let go of the arrow. I hear the arrow hit my target, but as I move the bow away from my face, its not the deer I see, it's him.
His body limp, mouth agape. I want to look away but it's his eyes that hold me in place. The beautiful strings of colour are cramped together in his irises, then weaving into eachother. A tear falls down my cheek. Even after the incident, my brain still taunts me, reminding me of my mistake.
I look down, not being able to hold back my tears.
"I'm sorry".
I turn around and leave the dead carcass, as if it would fix my distraught, but it only reminds me of how I left him.
I lean against a tree, my tears turn into water falls.
"I'm sorry, Dean."
