Enkidu07's Drabble Challenge - Happy Halloween!
Prompt Words: SCARY AND SPRAINED
Word Count: 200 words on the dot.
Other players in the challenge are now too many to list here! There're lots of people carving these Supernatural pumpkins. You can find the list of names at Enkidu07's profile page and/or OnyxMoonbeam's profile page. Also, to find all of the lovely drabbles, there's a sweet little C2 community out there to subscribe to and enjoy. You can find the link on their profile pages mentioned above.
Disclaimer: Neither the boys nor anything related to Supernatural belongs to me. I'm just having some fun with the boys, playing around with Eric Kripke's sandbox.
Saving the Un-Undead
By: Vanessa Sgroi
"So explain this to me again," grumbled Dean, "How are we supposed to find two real zombies in the middle of some whacked out zombie party?"
"It's called a Zombie Rave according to the flyer," Sam answered, "and I'm not exactly sure…yet."
"Great, so we need to somehow separate the un-undead from the undead…"
"The un-undead?"
"It sounded funnier than the living."
Sam ruefully shook his head. "God, you're scary sometimes."
"Scary in a good way," Dean replied with a smirk. "We're going to stick out like sore thumbs at this thing."
"Yeeeah, about that," Sam hesitated, "we wouldn't if we dressed up like them."
"What? No! I am not—repeat NOT—dressing up like a zombie."
"Dean, you said it yourself, we'll stick out like sore thumbs otherwise."
"Me and my big mouth."
-O-O-O-O-
"SAM! I found the other one," Dean yelled, "and he's huge! SAAAAM!" The zombie was powerful, sending Dean flying into a low brick wall with a good whack against his head. Things went a little fuzzy.
Minutes later, the zombie was dispatched and Sam was pulling Dean to his feet.
"Ow. I think I sprained my brain."
Sam steadied him when he staggered.
"Damn zombies."
