"I feel better now."

Mickey began walking away, though it hurt to leave Ian laying on the ground. Before he could get far he heard Ian speak.

"This doesn't change anything, Mickey. I know you love me and that won't change just because you knocked up some whore and have to marry her," Ian said standing up.

Mickey stopped in his tracks before spinning around to face the boy who was ruining his life.

"You think I want to feel this way? You think I wanna marry some bitch I don't even like, who's disgusts me? It doesn't matter that I love you or wanna be with you. It doesn't matter. Because at the end of the day I have to do this or we're both dead!"

The shouting stopped as Mickey seemed to have lost this voice. Ian slowly walked towards him and could see the tears in the other boy's eyes. Without thinking Ian wrapped Mickey into his arms and hugged as tight as he could. Mickey struggled for a moment before gripping the redhead tightly and burrowing his face in Ian's neck.

Ian could feel the tears soaking his shirt, but didn't care. This was his only chance to finally get what he wanted, who he wanted.

"We're gonna fix this Mick, we're gonna make this better somehow. No matter what it takes," Ian whispered softly. "I'm not letting you do this, I'm not letting you go."

Mickey seemed to sag into Ian's arms and let out a loud sob. Ian gripped tighter and continued to whisper into the older boy's ear. Finally, Mickey pushed Ian away and wiped his face, getting rid of any evidence that he had been crying.

"I love you," Ian stated.

A small smile appeared on Mickey's face before it was gone. As Mickey turned to walk away, Ian grinned though it hurt, knowing that he had won. They were going to figure this out, even if it took forever.
