In Bed
He knocked on the door and less that a minute later it opened.
"Hey Jamie."
"Hey." His brother replied his voice a little deeper than usual.
"Heard you called in sick today, just thought I'd check in."
"Figures, I'm ok, probably just a cold or something"
"So, nothing serious then." He said.
"Nope, I just woke up and didn't feel great, headache, sore throat you know, so I thought I should stay in bed." Jamie confirmed.
"Ok then, well just remember, plenty of rest and fluids."
"I know, bye Danny."
"See you." He replied and turned and began to walk down the hall.
He had almost gotten to the end of the of the hallway when he remembered something he meant to tell Jamie. He headed back down the hall and when he got to Jamie's door he noticed it hadn't closed fully. As he opened it he heard the toilet flushing and looked in to see Jamie walking out of the bathroom. What caught his eye however was the woman sitting on the bed wearing only Jamie's t-shirt. He kept watching through the two inch gap in the door as Jamie went over and joined the woman in bed.
"Who was that?" She asked.
"Just Danny, he heard I was sick, came to check on me."
"And...he believed you right."
"Yup, completely."
"See I told you, there is at least one upside to being a golden boy, everybody always believes you, even when your lying." She said grinning.
"Point taken. You're bad influence." He replied also grinning.
"Guilty." She admitted with a small laugh.
"Is that a confession?"
"You know officer, I think it is, do you know what that means?" She asked as she climbed on to his lap and straddled him. He shook his head.
"You have enough for an arrest." She grinned suggestively as she reached under a pillow and produced a pair of handcuffs which she dangled in front of him.
"Ok ma'am but first I'm going to have to frisk you." He said as he began to slide his hands up her body underneath her shirt.
It was at this point that Danny closed the door. He smiled to himself as he walked back down the hall. This is going to come in real handy someday he thought to himself.
