Here is a story I came for class.

Mara's pov.

I could tell it was a bad day when James appeared at my door.

I was drinking a cup of hot chocolate when came pounding on the front door. It was probably a miracle the door didn't break or fall down.

Leaving my hot chocolate, I went to the door.

After opening it, I already had an answer.

"No."

"But you don't know—!" James began to protest, but I cut him off.

"No, James." I said, my tone full of warning. "I don't do those kind of favors."

James ran down the hallway like his undead life depended on it. Maybe it did, but I sure as heck couldn't do anything about it.

About ten seconds after I went back to my hot chocolate, my door got another pounding.

"Go away, James." I called, assuming it was him.

I heard a shriek outside in the hall. I was almost scared of who it was. Okay, make that really scared.

I rushed to the door when it received another pounding. Again, it was a miracle that it didn't break down.

I opened the door to revile Victoria, James' girlfriend. Maybe I should have helped him.

"James was here?!" Victoria shrieked. "Where is he?!"

"Hello to you too, Victoria." I greeted drily. "And James is not here."

Victoria glared at me, not believing be at all. So, she pushed passed me and started to ransack my apartment.

It took a good hour before Hurricane Victoria left.

After hours of using the Force, my apartment was finally back to normal.

I went back to my hot chocolate to find it cold.

After re-warming it, I went back to reading the paper.

The peace didn't last two minutes.

My door was knocked on this time.

Probably Luke. I thought, knowing he would let himself in.

Instead, my door was blown off its hinges and across the room.

I whirled around to see Darth Vader enter.

"Is Luke here?" Vader casually asked as though he did not just break down my door.

"No." I said, my teeth gritted.

"He usually comes here, does he not?" Vader asked.

"Yes, but he is not here." I all but growled.

Then, (speak of the devil) Luke came to my door, out of breath, and roses in hand. His eyes glowed in relief when he saw me, but they quickly faded into horror when his eyes fell onto his father.

"Oh, his dad." Luke said, trying to make the situation as un-awkward as possible and failing epicly.

"Luke, what are you doing here?" Vader asked. "You were supposed to come with me to tour the Death Star."

"Um, I forgot I had a date with Mara." Luke said with a fake smile.

I glared at him, not liking that he was using me as an excuse to avoid his father.

"You are a terrible liar, you know that right?" I said wirily.

"Yeah." Luke sighed, defeated.

Vader grabbed Luke by the shoulder and dragged him out of the door.

"Have a good day, Mara!" Luke called before being dragged down the stairs.

"Too late."
