Two wonderful mistakes

Rose Weasley was born to fly. She was a natural. To her there was no better feeling than the wind flying through her red hair on a crisp autumn morning. Her chocolate brown eyes lighting up from the thrill.

So she naturally played quiddige. She was a seeker; a very, very good seeker. Some even said she was better than Harry Potter, her famous uncle. She was so good because she wasn't afraid to take risks. She'd end up with a few bruises, a broken bone or two, but she'd do it. She was a great addition to Gryffindor.

She was just as brilliant as her mother. She was also caring and wasn't afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She took after her mother.

She was just as loyal as her father. She could hold her own in a fight as well. She had to, with all her male family. She was fierce when she wanted to be and she was also stubborn as hell. She took after her father.

Unfortunately, with her mother Hermione and her father Ron, she was doomed before she was even born. She had the shortest temper in all of Hogwarts. There was no hope for her. You did not want to be around her when she was in one of her rages.

Ironically, the only person who did not cower in fear from her temper was Scorpius Malfoy. In fact he took great pleasure in setting it off. He completely befuddled her though. She didn't know what to think of him. He was just as handsome as his father, just as determined to prove himself; but in a good way. He was stubborn and wouldn't let anyone push him around, that included Rose. He fought fire with fire. And it was very, very, very dangerous to be around them when they were having a row.

But there was something different about him. Rose wasn't used to the way he treated her. He didn't treat her like one of the guys, but he treated her like, well, like a girl.

That was the problem because one night in their seventh year, Rose didn't see him as the annoying little prat he used to be. He wasn't a little boy; he was all man. And that frightened her. She was a tomboy, she wasn't supposed to fall in love. It was practically a rule.

So naturally she picked a fight with Scorpius to prove that things hadn't changed between them. She was still the short tempered little girl and he was still the annoying little boy. It would have worked wonderfully except for two mistakes.

1.) Rose let Scorpius back her against the wall in his anger. He was extremely angry and she backed up

as soon as he stepped forward, until he pinned her.

2.) She let the closeness get to her. She was acutely aware of him and how close he was. She stopped

yelling mid sentence and took him in. And her eyes locked on his lips long enough for him to notice.

Scorpius put both hands on either side of her head and moved closer so their chests pressed together. And the girl full of fire, shivered. She drew her eyes away from his lips to his grey eyes.

Their lips crushed together with so much force and desire. But he didn't hurt her and she trusted him not to. Both of their mouths battled for dominance as they pressed even closer together. Then oxygen had to go and ruin everything. Both of them were panting and surprised how much they enjoyed it. Neither party moved to separate.

"Wow." Rose gasped as she looked into Scorpius' eyes.

"Uh huh." He muttered with a weak nod.

"Do that again." Rose demanded as she grabbed the front of his robes.

Scorpius grinned devilishly and said, "With pleasure." Their lips met once again with the same, if not more, force.

The kiss was just the start of a roller coaster ride to a happily ever after full of love and happiness and a lot of bickering along the way.
