Baggage.
.TalaxTyson.
[You have no idea what you're in for, you brave fucker].
"How can you be so cold towards someone who is showing you so much affection?" The Granger fired with his finger pointed into his dates face. "I go to hold your hand, yet you flinch and snatch it away. Then I try to kiss you, but you turn your back to me."
A small snigger cooed from Tala's dried lips. His icy blue eyes narrowed like a predator whom was aiming for Tyson's weakness, he wanted to take him down. "Your heart needs to break before you can promise me anything in this world Tyson."
The red haired Russian then smacked away the finger and then leaned into Tyson's face to grin at him devilishly. "Everything you have ever said and done has been promised to me before. So what makes you think that you're any different from the previous bastards who have entered my life?" Tala then planted a worthless kiss onto Tyson's stunned lips to ease the pain. Afterwards he placed his hands into his pockets.
"Stop wasting your time Tyson and focus on yourself." With that said, Tala turned on his heel and paced away from the scene to make his way back to the hotel. "I don't have time for this."
"My heart needs breaking?" Tyson's body trembled with frustration. "What a pile of garbage!"
Unsatisfied with how the scene was panning out, Tyson darted after the Blitzkrieg captain to latch both of his hands around his right wrist. "How dare you kiss me like I mean nothing-" His bark dramatically weakened when the aftermath of that detached kiss pulsed through his figure. He released Tala's wrist and grunted loudly. The coldness invaded his muscles like a merciless frostbite, Tyson no longer could feel nor move his muscles. Tala had successfully restricted Tyson's movements to save himself the trouble of being hassled all night.
You have no idea what you're playing with, Tyson. The power of my wolborg is not one to under estimate.
A few seconds then ticked by until Tala registered the sound of a bulky body collapse down onto the concrete floor. "Stay away from me if you know what's good for you." The Valkov warned, his heart leaped with joy at the thought of this lucky escape. "You are my greatest rival, and nothing more."
"You know, Tala." The frostbite kiss may have traumatised Tyson's body, but it didn't seal his mouth shut. "You're one conniving twat who isn't afraid to shit on someone. But you'll have to do a lot more than this to stop me from getting back up."
"No way."
Tala's stomach wrenched at what he'd just heard. He immediately stopped in his tracks to gaze over his shoulder, again, he was gaped by the view that he was witnessing, Tyson had somehow found the strength to get back up.
"You're one stubborn blader alright. I'll give you that."
"Pft, it's not like I haven't heard that one a hundred times." Replied Tyson sarcastically as he limped over to a nearby bench to support himself. "I'm not giving up Tala. I don't care about what happened to you in the past, but you can't expect me to just stand there and let you walk away, especially after what you have just done to me. It's so cold."
"Fine. But what are you going to do about it then Tyson?" Growled Tala with his hands now edging towards his belt, near his blade and launcher. "Because Dragoon won't be able to save you from what I could do to you."
"You really are twisted." Tyson swirled his neck around, "But I bet your baggage isn't as heavy as what you make it out to be."
"I'll take my chances." Shrugged Tala arrogantly. "Stop wasting my time-"
"Oh, I won't. Just let me warm my muscles back up and then I will be all yours to play with."
"You've got to be kidding me!" Tala gasped when Tyson warmed up his muscles enough to begin moving normally again. "You never give up do you?"
"Life would be boring if I gave up on everything as easily as you do." Winked Tyson. He pulled out his launcher and then loaded it with it blade and ripcord. "I don't need to break my heart to understand what you're feeling, Tala. If anyone needs defrosting here, it's you! So you can figure out what you're missing out on in life."
"And what's that? Missing out on you?" Tala too prepared his launcher to aim it back towards the Granger. "You're going to make me sick if you keep up this pep talk."
"You're already sick, remember?!"
With his pride now on the edge of feeling vulnerable, Tala unleashed his wrath. "Oh, fuck you Tyson." He pulled back on the chord and fired his blade straight towards his opponent.
"I'd wanna LOVE me too." Tyson was chuffed to know that he'd flipped the tables into his favour. He too launched his blade. "Let it riiip!"
Their blades collided in the air before they both landed onto the narrow concrete path to keep crashing into one another.
"Public park or not, I am going to turn this place into an ice dome. Then once you and Dragoon are out my hair, I can go back home and forget that any of this ever happened!" Tala lowered his piercing gaze down to the two blades beneath them. "Wolborg! Lets finish this quick!"
The world champion rolled his eyes and he firmed his stance. "Jeez, if this is how you react to people who want to date you, then I shalt bother again. However, I will never back down from a beyblade match with you Tala because you are one awesome opponent."
"Stop kissing my ass!"
The temperature in the atmosphere plummeted and the solid path beneath their feet had now transformed into ice. A breath taking wind chilled Tyson once more, but to him, that was nothing compared to Tala's frost biting kiss.
"Oh come on Tala, when has a quick first attack ever taken me down?" Tyson braced for the attack by crossing his arms in front of his figure. "Dragoon! Lets take him down! Maybe then he will give a real excuse as to why he doesn't want me."
Tyson's blade then glowed a blue aura to signal that Dragoon was charging up his counter attack. Wolborg was now charging for the ancient Dragon like she had nothing to lose, the wolf was ready to kill.
"A real excuse?!" Hissed Tala, "You really can't be that self absorbed, surely!?"
"You'd be surprised." Tyson took a deep breath to endure Wolborg's Antarctic winds. "Until you give me a proper excuse, I won't back down!"
He's not joking either, is he? - Tala gulped. He was blissfully unaware of the fact that he'd just let his guard down by allowing Tyson to enter his mind and distract him. "Did I really mean that much to you?" He questioned with his eyes widening.
Due to the lack of concentration on Tala's behalf - Wolborg's attack had been dodged, meaning that Dragoon was now fully charged.
"Maybe. After all, you did text me an 'I love you,' a few times. So I know that you felt something too somewhere. I don't think you would be the type to string someone along Tala." Tyson clenched his fists and then raised them both into the frosty air. "NOW DRAGOON!"
"Fuck!" Tala cursed to himself as he watched Tyson's blade knock Wolborg clean out. "You- How- Why-"
"Maybe your Wolborg agrees with me. She too knows that when you isolate yourself, you're missing out on all the fine pleasures in life-"
"Don't tell me, are you suppose to be a' fine pleasure' by any chance?" Tala huffed when his blade skipped across the ground to land at his feet. The icy temperatures had finally came to an end and the peaceful evening had been restored. "That is my most embarrassing defeat yet. Urgh!"
He couldn't bare the thought of looking down to see Tyson's blade, which was still pridefully spinning. Instead, Tala just crouched down to pick up his blade with a frown on his face. "I just don't get it Tyson. Why are you so adamant about the thought of us being together?"
"Because you won't let yourself give anyone a chance." Answered the Dragoon wielder. He reached up his hand to catch a hold of his blade. "I know that you don't know what you want half the time, but the future might have such a happy ending for us both. I mean, when you text me to say that you loved me Tala, did you really mean it?"
Tala nodded silently.
"So, what's really holding you back then Tala?" Tyson paced over to Tala to share a warm smile. "Because I really want to show you just how much I love you."
"It's not that simple Tyson. I have never had stability in my life and dating someone new would threaten my sense of security." Tala rose up and licked his lips to moisten them. "But as you seem so driven to be with me, then I will give you a small chance-"
"Small?" Tyson's face dropped. "Why small?"
"Because I want to take things slow. I need to figure out just what I want to do with myself and with you." A small smile sketched itself onto his pale face. "I've never met anyone like you. But you have been there for me, so I will be there for you too. Just don't expect me to jump at your command."
"Done!" The champion lit up like a joyful soul. He opened up his arms to offer the Valkov a warm hug. "That's better than the answer you gave me earlier anyway-"
"Don't push it." Tala hissed and stepped back. "And no, I am not ready to hug you yet."
"Oh." Tyson blinked awkwardly, "Then, what do you want to do?"
Tala latched his gear back onto his belt and then raised an eyebrow at the younger blader. His heart skipped a beat at the cute and confused expression that had now filled his new boyfriends face. It was strange to know that he was now dating his biggest rival – the world champion beyblader.
"This." Without warning, Tala leaned in to plant a passionate sweet kiss onto Tyson's lips. "If you can keep your title and carry my baggage at the same time, then you deserve a pat on the back Tyson."
"Oh! Does that mean you're willing to give me a massage? Because I really could do with you loosening up these defrosted muscles."
A/N: I had to re-write this because I didn't realise how much of a mess it was! Gosh, I do apologise. However, I hope the better draft is better suited to you guys - Granger~
