(Note: This happens right after 7x01, when Prentiss comes back, and the team is still getting over the shock.)
Reid is slouched at his desk, staring at his computer, not really seeing what is on it. Morgan walks by and notices instantly.
"Hey kid. What's going through your mind now? A brick?"
Reid smiles a little, makes eye contact, and realizes there's no point in hiding his thoughts.
"Somehow, this just doesn't feel real. That Emily's really back. I've dreamed about her coming back so many times, and now it still feels like I'm dreaming. This feels like just another completely realistic dream with a crazy shock waiting at the very end, making me wake up."
"Reid, this team spends a lot of time together, but it's sure not enough for us to share a mass hallucination. I'm not doubting the fact that she's back. "
"I know that, really, but that's exactly what you would say in one of my dreams."
Morgan looked down. He had a point. What's something that can only happen in reality, and not in a dream? Something scientific…
"Hey, I've got an idea! You wanna prove she's real? I got an idea to do that."
Morgan gets out his phone and presses the speed dial for Garcia. She answers instantly.
"Hey, baby girl, get down here, and bring a camera. We're gonna have some fun."
"Ooh, my prince, I'd love to, but won't we get in trouble for indecency?"
"Just get down here with that camera, sweet stuff."
Reid can't figure out what could possibly be on Morgan's mind.
"Morgan, what are you doing?"
"Listen here, Pretty Boy. We're going over to Prentiss' desk, and she and I are gonna lift you off the ground. She holds your shoulders, I get your feet. Or vice versa, whatever. Garcia will take a photo of that, and when you see it, you'll know that if Prentiss wasn't there, there's no way I'd be able to hold you off the ground from my angle without the other half of you being on the ground."
Reid stares, calculating the possibilities in terms of force, angle, weight density...
"Morgan… Since when did you learn physics?"
"Hey, I remember the important parts. The common sense parts, at least."
Garcia arrives, excitedly holding her camera, looking around for something out of the ordinary to photograph. Morgan checks on Hotch, and notices him on the phone. That should give them plenty of time to get away with the photo.
With Reid trailing along, voicing his disapproval, Morgan quickly reaches Prentiss' desk and explains his plan. By the time Reid gets there, and Garcia snaps a photo of Morgan's biceps, Prentiss is grinning at the idea.
Without much of a warning, Morgan turns around and grabs Reid from behind in a tight bear hug. Since he's still shorter than the genius, he drags him backwards a bit to get him off his feet. Reid's heels would be dragging the floor if he hadn't started struggling. With a smile, and inner joy at being part of these games again, Prentiss reaches down, takes Reid's ankles, and gently pulls them up. This stuns Reid for a moment before he resumes trying to hit the pressure points along Morgan's arm.
Garcia is laughing, happily circling the three, snapping photos as quickly as possible. Hotch has gotten off the phone, and is watching the scene with mixed emotions. Normally he would disapprove of this kind of horseplay, but he knew better than anyone how much the team needed it. Rossi and the others have gathered around the scene with smiles.
Prentiss' smile is the biggest, and it is captured from all camera angles, with the rest of the team smiling in the background.
All the photo evidence they would ever need, that she was truly back.
