Disclaimer: Not mine. Never will be. No money earned.
A/N: Ahem, "I am no man." Heh.heh.heh. Sorry for the insanity, but it was really inspired by that line from the "Return of the King" (and Telanu's first line challange although it's not really an answer to the challenge).
No witch
"We need to have sex right now!"
There was grave silence in the staff room. Hagrid's big cup of tea was slowly slipping as he stared at Minerva McGonagall. Rest of the teachers in the room did the same.
The silence was broken by the Headmaster. Twinkle in his eyes reminded of fireworks.
"It's an interesting proposal, Minerva-dear. Tempting too."
The Deputy Headmistress of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry rised her gaze from the book she was reading and asked puzzledly:
"What is tempting?"
"Ahem, I believe you accidentally read a sentence out loud." Remus Lupin, who had successfully broken the curse on DADA teachers by teaching it for the second year in row, gestured apologetically at the book in Minerva's lap. The cat-animagus' eyes fell on the lines she had been reading and she blushed furiously.
"Oh, this," she waved the book - on the cover of wich a scantily glad witch fell into the arms of a mighty warlock - and said:
"I confiscated it from a seventh year in my class. I was just... looking what it was about."
"Oh, I see." The teachers had to note the Headmaster actually looked dissapointed.
"Albus," McGonagall's voice was stern. "Being married does not mean we can act irresponsibly." The Headmaster looked even more dissapointed.
"However, in certain situations I believe marriage gives us right for some privileges. Colleagues, Albus and I are going to turn in for the evening. Severus, you are in charge of emergencies. Come, Albus."
She rised and headed for the door, the Headmaster, who had regained his twinkle, in tow. As she passed Remus, she paused and let the book fall into his lap.
"Tell Mr.Potter I do not approve of unauthorized reading in Transfiguarations. Good evening to you all."
The door banged shut behind Minerva and Albus.
There was once again slilence in the staff room. Hargid was frantically drying his pants. Remus had picked up the book and was now staring at the cover.
"What, Luping, can't tear your eyes off? I was under an impression you had no interest in witches, clothed or not."
Snape offered no source for his information but something in his voice made professor Binns sigh and remember the days he himself had been young, in love and occasionally jealous. He smiled benevolently at the boys.
Remus did not turn his gaze from the cover where the young "witch" had finally lost the underrobe.
"This is no witch!"
