Morgan Bonheur's surname really matched him since he was not only the luckiest person in the little town of Sauveterre, located in north-western France, but probably the luckiest person in the country. He had: 1) been dropped as an infant and, supposedly, gotten smarter because of that, 2) survived a fire when he was twelve and only lost a foot (and yes, that's getting out of it with advantage), 3) 'survived' a whole night at the, also supposedly, haunted woods. That and, of course, some smaller events. So, yeah, he was a lucky guy.
At most days he considered himself lucky of being friends with both Lou Rey and Francis Leroy; the days they decided to fight against each other were not one of those days. Especially when said fights took place at the back of his family's ironwork business.
Lou Rey was not necessarily a mean person; she just didn't knew when to not be blunt and didn't knew when to back out of a fight. Morgan never really discovered if that was because of her pride or because of her instinct.
Francis on the other hand, was a completely different case. He was never your typical good person (some of the towns people would dare say he's not a good person, at all) but he wasn't necessarily bad; the only issue with him was that he didn't knew when to stop acting cruel. Cruelty is tolerable for only so long.
Lou and Francis both had their hairs up in ponytails (why don't you cut your hair, Christopher asked Francis one day. The only answer he received was a incredulous stare) and she was thanking God she was wearing a frilly blouse and pants instead of a dress.
His fists were raised up and her knees were lightly bent. He managed to punch her before she could tackle him. Morgan flinched.
Francis threw two more punches before she brought him down and pinned him under her (they didn't seem bothered by it but for a moment, Morgan's mind went to wild places). After that, it was just punches left an right.
When Morgan finally said 'that's it for today, folks!' and ended their fight, they both had several bruises, Lou had a bleeding nose and split lip while Francis had a black eye an a good number of scratches.
"You're getting killed next time."
"Whatever you say, Shahnaz."
"Fuck off, Francis."
