Disclaimer: I own nothing having to do with Glee, any superheroes or Big Bang Theory. A/N: This is my answer for Pezberry Week Day #3 - AU: Nerd!Santana and Popular!Rachel

Santana looked down at her Flash shirt, smoothing out invisible wrinkles. She checked her red and yellow converse to make sure the toe wasn't scoffed and the shoelaces were tied tight. She couldn't risk tripping over a loose lace. Today was a big day. Today was the day she was going to approach the love of her life.

"Are you sure about this?" Santana turned to her best friend Lucy, wearing her Green Lantern shirt and bowtie in solidarity. The blonde was looking down the hall at the group of cheerleaders gathered in front of the head cheerleader's locker. "She doesn't even know you exist, Santana."

"I know Lucy, but I'll forever regret it if I don't step up and say something to her. It's the first day of our last semester of high school," Santana answered. "I got a new haircut over the break, got my braces taken off and talked my parents into getting me contacts. If I'm ever going to have a chance, its now."

"Okay, well, I'm here if you need me," Lucy said, pushing her glasses back up her nose. "Good luck San."

"Thanks Lucy Q." The Latina took a deep breath and started walking toward the Cheerios, nervous about what she was about to do. She'd had a crush on Rachel Berry ever since the first day of high school when the tiny brunette walked down the hallway in her Cheerios uniform, flanked by her best friends, Kurt and Mercedes.

"What do you want nerd?" Mercedes asked as she got to the group. The other Cheerios laughed, but Rachel just quirked an eyebrow, a small smirk playing on her lips.

"Um, I wanted to talk to Rachel," Santana answered, dancing internally that she didn't stammer too much.

"Well, she doesn't want to talk to you, loser," Kurt taunted. "So, why don't you just walk away."

"Kurt, I think I can speak for myself," Rachel broke in, before the boy could say anymore.

"But Rach."

"Kurt, you're going to be late for class, as are the rest of you. I wouldn't want to have to give you all extra laps on the first day back," Rachel threatened. Santana fought her smirk as she watched the cheerleaders scatter. The tiny diva grinned. "What can I do for you Santana?"

"Well, I ... wait, you know my name?" Rachel giggled as she nodded, watching the blush rise to the other girl's cheeks. "Oh, well, I, um, I was wondering if you would like to join me for dinner at Breadstix tonight?" Santana blurted out.

"I don't know," Rachel started, twirling a finger through her pony tail, grinning. "It is a school night, afterall."

"Oh, well, you can't blame a girl for trying," Santana said, rubbing the back of her neck and moving to push her glasses up, forgetting she was wearing contacts today. "Um, thanks for not, you know, laughing in my face."

"Santana?" Rachel asked, moving closer to the girl.

"Yea/"

"Bazinga," she whispered into the Latina's ear. Santana leaned back, surprised. "I'd love to go out with you, Flash. Pick me up at 7. I need to get to class, but I'll leave my address in your locker. See you later Santana."

Lucy walked up to her friend who was standing frozen, watching the small cheerleader walk away. "Are you okay San? What happened?"

"She watched The Big Bang Theory."

The blonde frowned. "What does that have to do with anything?"

"She said yes."
