The job of schoolboard president changed Peter's brain. It made him much more intelligent than he was and he became a lot less rude and misogynistic. He and his family were watching the news when they heard the news bulletin. Peter had lied with such strength that he truely believed his own lie at this point.
"Welcome to Channel 5 News at One, I'm Tom Tucker."
"And I'm Diane Simmons."
"The top story continues to be our continued coverage of former Schoolboard President runnerup Lois Pewderschmidt, who has been recently divorced from Schoolboard President Griffin. She-"
Tom checks what he is hearing in his earpiece as there is a silence. He, with his eyes now slightly more open and with a shocked tone, says:
"We... We have breaking news that... Lois Griff-er Pewderschmidt... has had an... assassination attempt. She is thought to have serious injuries and has been rushed to hospital. We'll...good god..."
Tom cannot continue. He knew Lois on several occasions. He leaves the room with his head down. He didn't believe for even one moment that she gave those magazines to the children in Peter Griffin Jr. High. By extension, he didn't believe that she abused any children.
"We apologise for this distruption. Tom knows Lois to some extent." Diane continues.
"We'll keep you updated on this story as it develops. In other news, a Quahog woman has been killed while near her home. Joyce Kinney was just leaving her-"
Peter turns off the television.
"Thank god. A woman like her deserves some sort of punishment." Peter states.
"I can't believe I was ever in love with her." He continues.
"But Dad, you-" Chris tries to say something.
"No, Christopher. I didn't do this! Miss. Pewderschmidt did this." Peter 'corrects'.
"I can't believe mom is in hospital..." Meg cries.
"Megan," (Peter changed her name from Megatron to Megan) "She is not your mother. Besides, Miss. Pewderschmidt is a monster who possibly abused children or even maybe worse." He corrects Meg.
Subconsciously, Peter was making his whole family believe his lie by showing them more and more fake evidence.
Some Hours Later...
The TV had been turned back on, and they were listening to the coverage of the attempt on Lois's life, when they heard one last bulletin.
"This is Quahog Channel Five News. We are hearibg unofficial sources stating that the runner-up in the schoolboard presidential election, daughter of Carter Pewderschmidt and heir to Pewderschmidt Industries, Lois Pewderschmidt, has died in hospital. I must remind you that these are unofficial reports...
Oh. It's coming through now through Channel Five sources and its been confirmed that Lois Pewderschmidt, formerly Griffin, has died aged 42. She was assassinated by an unknown gunman while walking out of a courtroom during her child abuse case. Carter Pewderschmidt, her father, is expected to be making an announcememt in the next few minutes."
"Oh my god... she's dead." Brian weeps.
"That woman is finally dead?
...how surprising..." Stewie thinks.
To be continued.
