I'm supposed to be stuying for my LSATS and this wouldn't go away. Just a short drabble. I have no idea where it came from...:P

He was drowning. Drowning deep in a sea of emotions he was no stranger to, yet he felt as inexperienced. How he had waited for this moment, this precious segment of time that he knew would be over much, much to fast for his liking. Never having been one to waste precious instants, he gave up control turned himself entirely over to the current of want that invaded his blood.

Oz, she was perfect. Though he wanted nothing more than to look at her beautiful face, he forced himself to keep his eyes shut, fearing that if he opened them, she would disappear as she had so many times before. He felt her lips soften and part under his own and he took the opportunity to deepen the kiss. Over and over he kissed her, coaxing and probing, giving and taking, just as he had imagined a thousand times over.

His hands were everywhere at once, caressing and stroking, feather light and wispy. They memorized her body, joined to his in a dance as old as time itself. He could feel her own hands on his back, clutching him tightly as something between a gasp and a moan escaped from her, driving him further toward the brink of madness. He kissed her again, stronger this time, wanting her to know how much she meant to him, how much he loved her.

She arched against him then and his head spun as her satin skin made further contact with his own. He wished they could stay like this forever, wrapped securely around one another in a lover's embrace. His name was forced from her lips in a passionate whisper, sweet to his ear and he smiled into the darkness. Finally, when he could no longer contain himself, he released a moan of his own as his body took over, sending warm waves of pleasure through them.

As the final sensations ebbed away and he felt himself falling, he finally allowed his tongie to wrap around the name that consumed him, day and night."

"Elphaba…"

Beneath him, his fiancée turned away and pretended not to hear.
