Sadie knew she was a rebel. Not the kind that snuck out after curfew or challenged authority, but the kind that when given two choices, she would always choose the hardest and most stubborn out of them. Sadie had always been a rebel apparently. She could always remember her grandparents constantly saying how she was just like her mother and not just in looks.
Overtime Sadie began to wonder just how true that statement was, until she met her mother in the duat and saw for herself just what her grandparents meant. Her mother too was a rebel, just slightly different than Sadie herself. The look in her eyes when she found out about her children's' dangerous quest, was that of someone who didn't agree with the terms or actions needed, it was the look of someone who wanted nothing more than to challenge any danger that may show it's face to her own children. The only difference was Sadie's' mother was a quiet rebel. You would only ever know she was one if you chose to look close enough. Sadie understood that she got her rebellious side from her mother, so every time Sadie was stubborn or chose the hard path from that day on, she was always reminded of that old saying "Like Mother Like Daughter", and that the saying had never been more close to the truth.
