Brother's feud.

'I was told that the stars tell a story. I always believed this. But on this night, when I gazed up at the sky, all I saw were orbs dotting the obsidian canvas above me, it meant nothing. A cool breeze brushed passed me, sending shivers about my skin. I could almost feel his presence in the air, like he was the air it's self as it rushed around me.

I felt a firm hand rest it's self on my shoulder, or was it a trick of the wind. I turned my being to confront the source of the hand. I thought nothing of it as I saw his tall, broad figure looking down at me. After all, it was just in my mind, a figment of my corrupted imagination. Wasn't it?

"Sasuke." His voice was so cold, it froze over me.

"What are you doing here, Itachi?" I answered, but I heard the sound more directed towards myself than the figure hovering above me.

There was a long silence, the only sound was the wind ripping through the aged trees surrounding.

"I won't come back." His voice still cold. As I convinced myself that these words meant nothing to me, that it was nothing more than a sentence. I felt my heart clench all the same.

I nodded my head, expression numb. As he turned to leave I instantly snatched his arm, stopping him. I didn't control this action, it surprised me.

"Brother..." I scarecly whispered, too weak for my own taste. He lowered his head, close to mine. His lips brushed mine. I thought he were to kiss me.

However he turned away and walked. His figure became smaller and smaller as he got further away from me. He's not coming back.

I longed for him to come back. I'm not sure why. I hated him. I had to kill him.

Yes, I had to kill him. I opened my mouth to shout this hate at him, but it came out a whisper.

"I love you."

He was just in my head, wasn't he?'
