When Blue Meets White.

Evie's instructions were simply. Watch as Lumiere and Cogsworth. The king's two most trusted servants. Carried the fairy godmother's wand into the coronation chamber. As soon as the wand was in place she was to go and inform Carlos, Jay and Mal that things were now falling into place.

She started heading towards the crowd of guests who were also attending Prince Ben's coronation and that was were she was to meet Carlos, Jay and Mal but she suddenly bumped into one of the TV hosts who would be broadcasting the memorable occasion,

"I'm so sorry" Evie said in a rushed tone but before she managed to rush away she saw exactly who it was she had bumped into. The woman's hair was black as ebony, her lips as red as blood and the one thing that stood out was her skin that was as white as snow. Evie looked stunned,

"Snow White" she said unbelievably and the woman giggled happily,

"That's me. Are you ok?" She asked kindly and Evie nodded slowly. The way her mother had described Snow White, Evie had been expecting a horrific monster and yet here was this kind, bubbly woman asking her if she was ok with genuine concern. Evie struggled for a moment,

"I... I well... Yes. Thank you" she with an awkward smile and Snow White suddenly tilted her head with a curious expression and Evie found herself trying to avoid eye contact,

"I... I'm sorry it's just... You look awfully like someone I used to know" she said quietly as if thinking and Evie didn't speak and that was when Snow's expression became stunned before tears formed in her eyes,

"E... Evie?" She asked and that was when Evie looked at her surprised,

"You know my name?" She asked shocked and Snow White smiled brightly with tears in her eyes before she hugged Evie tightly,

"Of course I do. You're my little sister" she said happily and Evie was shocked as she slowly hugged her back,

"I..." Evie tried but she couldn't form any words and snow pulled away gently and smiled brightly before wiping away her own tears,

"Despite everything that happened between me and your mother I still saw her as the woman who raised me" she explained,

"I always begged the king to tell me how she was fairing on the Isle of the lost and one day he told me of how she had given birth to a little girl named Evie and I was so overjoyed that I had a little sister of whom I had always wished for" she said gently with a soft smile that was laced with sadness,

"It broke my heart knowing that we would never meet... And here you are" she said happily but the moment was interrupted when they heard the crowd behind them cheer and Snow smiled brightly as she placed both hands on Evie's shoulder,

"We must catch up after the coronation and make up for all the lost years." She said gently and Evie couldn't help but look at her sadly,

"But we're not truly related" she said sadly but Snow smiled,

"Blood matters not between sisters Evie" she said gently before hugging her once more gently,

"I've always considered you family" she said gently and Evie smiled a soft secret smile as she hugged Snow back. It was kind of awesome having a big sister.
