Author's Note: I have seen people do something like this for Draco, but I decided that I wanted to do this for Lucius instead.

Lucius had always considered Narcissa a friend and confidant, but one night in the Slytherin Common Room both gave in to their lust for each other's flesh.

Lucius also had a constant lust for power. He had to be the one in control, no matter the cost.

Lucius's wants always came first. He was gluttonous in his desire to make himself happy. Others, with the exception of Narcissa, simply did not matter.

Happiness, however, never lasted for long. Lucius, therefore, was always hungry for more. He was always searching for ways to make himself happy.

Lucius knew that his family had been wealthy long before him, but that never stopped his greed and his desire to increase his wealth. There could never be enough of it. It didn't matter to him if others suffered in this quest. All that mattered to him was that he never stopped obtaining money.

Lucius was known to be a hard-worker and a dedicated student, but he gave in to sloth when others were in need. He simply had no desire to get involved in other people's problems. He was more concerned with looking after himself.

Lucius felt nothing but wrath towards his father. He hated how cruel his father was towards him.

Lucius also hated how he was unable to fully bond with his own son. He hated that he was unable to be a better, more supportive father, but he also hated that Draco constantly acted like a spoiled brat who felt like he was entitled and didn't have to work for anything in his life.

Lucius felt wrath towards Muggles, Mudbloods, and Blood-Traitors. His father had taught him well. His father had taught him that they were all inferior to him, and that it was his duty to eliminate them

Lucius hated how the Muggle population were constantly increasing, while the Wizarding population was constantly decreasing. He hated how more and more Purebloods were breeding with Muggles. He hated how some of his own kind were committing acts that would eventually destroy them all if they were not stopped.

Hate was the only emotion that Lucius truly understood.

Lucius felt nothing but envy towards Arthur Weasley. Lucius was jealous of Arthur's happy childhood despite his family's lack of wealth. Lucius was jealous of how Arthur's parents loved him. Lucius was jealous of how Arthur had so many children, including a daughter, while all Lucius had was one child, a son. Lucius wanted Arthur's life, despite the other man's poverty and lack of ambition.

Lucius felt nothing but envy towards all that were able to smile and laugh. They made his wealth and influence almost seem meaningless, and Lucius hated that. He should be the one smiling, laughing, and enjoying his life, not them.

Despite knowing that the world was against him or perhaps because of it, Lucius was a very proud man. He was intelligent and wealthy. He was cunning. He could do whatever he wanted. The rules had never been meant for him.

As far as Lucius was concerned, everyone else (with the exception of Narcissa and perhaps Severus) was an idiot. They were all inferior to him. There was no reason, therefore, for him to care about them. All that mattered to him was him and his desires.
