Hey everyone. This story was brought to you by Our Tangled Webs on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I wrote for the pairing of Oliver Wood/Katie Bell. I hope you all enjoy this little piece of fluff called Playground Love.

Even though it was cold outside and the wind was blowing hard Oliver wanted to go outside. He looked out the clouded over window of his house to see that the sun was shinning. If the sun was shinning he wanted to be outside and playing some sort of game.

"No one is going to be at the park today, Oliver," his mother told him as she had a few minutes ago. She'd been trying all day to convince her son to stay in doors but he'd hear none of it.

"But what if there is someone there to play with?" the six year old bickered back to his mother.

"Oliver," his mother sighed as though at her wits end and at a loss for what else to say.

"But I want to go to the park and play, Mummy," Oliver told her bluntly. "Only for a little bit. Please." He knew it was time to pull out the big guns. He put on his best puppy dog eyes and looked up at his mother.

"Not fair, you," she sighed. "Fine." She put the last of the dishes into the sink to let them soak before she washed them. "Get your warm coat out of the closet and we'll go as soon as I finish these dishes here. But you'll find that I'm right and no one will be there."

Oliver cheered as he raced off towards the hall closet and pulled his nice new heavy coat out. He'd show his mother how wrong she was. He just knew that someone would be there to play with today.

"Let's go to the park, Katie," Katie Bell's mother called from the kitchen. She'd just finished doing the dishes after their morning meal and figured her four year old daughter would like to go outside for a bit.

"But it's cold outside, Mummy," the four year old girl complained as she brushed some of her brown hair out of her eyes. "No one is going to be at the park any way."

"I don't know, kiddo. Maybe there will be someone at the park."

"But..."

"No buts. Go get your coat on. We're going to the park."

Katie sighed and trudged after her mother and got her purple puffy coat out of the closet. This wasn't going to be as worth it as her mother thought it would be and she'd prove it.

Oliver was playing in the sandbox by himself when he saw them walking towards the park. A girl about his age or younger, and her mother. He smiled as they came nearer and nearer.

"Go on and play, Katie," the woman told the little girl. "You need to interact with kids near your own age." She shooed the brown haired blue eyed girl towards him and the sandbox.

Oliver got up and raced over to them his smile spreading over his face. "Hello," said excitedly causing the young girl to hide behind her mother's leg. "I'm Oliver. I'm sorry if I scared you."

"She's not scared, sweetie," the girl's mother told Oliver. "She's just a little shy is all. Perhaps she can play with you in the sandbox?"

"Sure," Oliver nodded enthusiastically. "Come on..."

"Katie," the girl shy provided.

"Come on, Katie. We'll have a fun time." Oliver pulled Katie off after him. True to his word Oliver made sure that Katie Bell, as he found out later, had a fun time at the park.

After a few minutes of playing Katie had to go home. She said that it was too cold outside to play today and that she had to go home now. Oliver watched as she trudged over to her mother. Turning around to find his own mother behind he smiled and pointed towards the young girl. "I'm going to marry her one day," he said.

"I'm sure you will. Casanova," his mother laughed. "Come on let's go home."
