This is a poem that just came to me. Some of the stanzas are obviosly from one of the two of them but I feel most apply to both of them. I have a note about the fourth stanza: It was not meant to be self harm in any way. Depending on which character you feel it is the causes change but please no stupid reviews about how emo this is. I feel it kinda goes along with Setting Sun, at least its the frame of mind I was in while writing it. Enjoy. or don't. I dont really care.

The hush of the city,

Quiet except for the ever present cars,

Masks a boy deserving of pity

And a sigh flung threw metaphorical bars.

His closest hope of a comforting shoulder,

A lovely girl he thought he knew.

As this supposed friend grows steadily colder,

The poor lonely boy turns hypothetically blue.

Upon the roof of a house he hates,

The hurt is morphed to calm acceptance.

And as the boy silently meditates,

He both craves and fears a single glance.

No one notices the tear tracks,

Or the darker substance running 'round his wrist.

As he tries to put himself into his place,

He revels in the thought he is already death kissed.

A bright smile illuminates his face for all eyes.

A warm tone is deigned to grace others ears.

And so now this boy only cries

As he ponders the end to all his fears.
