Another original Thomas story, this time it's "The Row" Enjoy and comment.
It was summertime on the Island of Sodor, and all the engines were working hard, taking vacationers to where they needed to go.
Sir Topham Hatt came to Tidmouth Sheds.
"Today is the busiest day for vacationers. I need a engine to take the vacationers to the Scottish Castle."
"I'll do it!" said James.
"James will take the vacationers to the Scottish Castle."
James was overjoyed, but Percy was cross.
"Why don't I get a route?" he asked.
"I do need another engine to take vacationers across the Misty Valley Branch Line to watch the seals."
"I can do that!" said Percy.
"Percy will take the vacationers to watch the seals."
Later that day, James and Percy picked up the passengers at Knapford Station.
But Percy was still cross. He had less passengers than James.
"People don't want to see seals." said James, "they want to see the castle. That's more exciting."
"You're afraid of seals, that's why you won't do it!" replied Percy.
Now James was cross and red in the face.
"Scaredy train!" added in James.
"Remember the time when a bootlace was needed to fix a leak in your pipes?" said Percy.
Now James had lost it. He just puffed crossly away, not saying another word to James.
When James arrived at the Scottish Castle, Sir Topham Hatt was waiting for him. He was very cross.
"Teasing other engines about what they are doing is not a good thing to do. I've heard several complaints from the passengers about how rude you were to Percy. You should be ashamed."
"I'm sorry sir." replied James.
The passengers were complaining too, telling Sir Topham Hatt what a bad railway it was.
James puffed sadly away.
James felt very ashamed at himself, and began puffing back to the sheds.
Then, he saw Percy. He was heading home after taking the passengers to see the seals.
When Percy saw James, he looked worried.
"What's the matter James?" he asked.
"I did a very bad thing teasing you Percy. I'm sorry"
"And I'm sorry for teasing you about the bootlaces."
James and Percy set off home, glad that they were friends again.
And they had also learned that teasing each-other is not a good thing to do.
