Well, I couldn't tell you
Why she felt that way
She felt it every day

She stared out the window, thinking about what her life used to be like. Before her parents disappeared, before everything fell apart. A few tears fell down her face, but she wiped them away.

And I couldn't help her
I just watched her make
The same mistakes again

He sat at the other side of the room, quietly watching her fall apart. Mirror had killed her parents, and kidnapped her grandmother. All she had left were her sister and the other children. He knew it was too much for her.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems
Don't know where she belongs
Where she belongs

She closed her eyes and imagined that everything was perfect again. All of a sudden, she was sick of everything. She just wanted to leave. She got up and went to her room. She shoved all her money in her pockets, stuffed some clothes in her backpack, and snuck out the front door.

She wants to go home
But nobody's home
That's where she lies
Broken inside

It's been months. She's been gong for so long, she can barely remember what it feels like to be cared about. She sat against the wall of the shelter and cried.

With no place to go
No place to go
To dry her eyes
Broken inside

She searched her backpack feebly for a tissue, but didn't find anything. She settled for her sleeve instead.

Open your eyes
And look outside
Find the reasons why
You've been rejected
And now you can't find
What you've left behind

She wished they'd find her. But how could they? She didn't even know where she was. Why had she left?

Be strong, be strong now
Too many, too many problems
Don't know where she belongs
Where she belongs

She stifled her tears and stood up. She'd think about it all later. This was all such a mess.

Her feelings she hides
Her dreams she can't find
She's losing her mind
She's falling behind

She'd had a good life, really. It was hard, but she was loved. But not anymore.

She can't find her place
She's losing her faith
She's falling from grace
She's all over the place, yeah

She used to be so pretty, but her face was now caked with dust. She didn't know where to go from here.

She wants to go home
But nobody's home
That's where she lies
Broken inside

She curled up against the side of the bus shelter, thinking about what she would do next.

With no place to go
No place to go
To dry her eyes
Broken inside

She didn't know what to do.

She's lost inside, lost inside
Oh oh
She's lost inside, lost inside
Oh oh, oh

What was the matter with her?
