Did it really Happen?: The Invaders. All rights to the charcters and backgrounds of this show belong to its creators. David Vincent is asking himself this question many years after the show.

The Invaders, alien beings from a dying planet. Their destination: the Earth. Their purpose: to make it their world. David Vincent has seen them. For him, it began one lost night on a lonely country road, looking for a shortcut that he never found. It began with a closed deserted diner, and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey. It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy. Now David Vincent knows that the Invaders are here, that they have taken human form. Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare has already begun.

I ask myself that question almost every day.

What did I see that night?

I always though that it was a ship from another world.

And that I tried to tell the rest of the world that they

were here.

But, how do you tell the world, that we are in danger?

Most people did not listen. Some did. Edger Scoville,

He belived. A few others. And so we fought them.

And when they died, a red glow and black ash.

No proof, people would say.

After all these years, the sighting were fewer.

The encounters less and less. Have they all died?

Maybe they have. But deep down, I still look to the skies.

The the old Man looked to me.

And you should too. Then he died.

An old man in a nursing home.

David Vincent was his name.

We packed his things away.

We loaded his body in the ambulance.

For the trip to the funeral parlor.

He had no family. Very few friends.

Just a fear. As I left to go home that

Night. I looked to the night sky and

Remembered David's last words "I

still look to the skies, and you should too!"
