In the dim warehouse starry where the Raggie children slept peacefully, a single girl, Hannah, opened her eyes and woke fearfully in a cold sweat. Gasping, she gripped the bedsheets tightly, looking around to make sure she was the only child awake. But the dream had been so vivid. A great fleet of planemen had swarmed on the warehouse, wreaking having in every direction. We haven't seen any planemen in years, she thought. It had been many, many Wakings ago. But the image of their grizzled faces, contorted with anger and malice, filled her mind's eye, and she instinctively leapt out of bed, tiptoeing carefully towards the door.

The girl checked every room of the warehouse, but the two people she sought were nowhere to be found. As she sulked back up the steps, a sudden noise cracked the silence, one that faintly resembled a laugh. She crept into the main room of the warehouse, and then she saw them- Cati and Wesley, sitting in a strange position by the fire. She cocked her head, trying to figure out what they were doing. They seemed to be… hugging, but it was a strong, passionate kind of hug, and Wesley's hands were in places that made Hannah turn a deep scarlet. She had seen them do this before but it still confused the rullocks out of her. Maybe when I'm older. Looking again, Cati was now straddling Wesley, her delicate fingers cupping his face. They were kissing in a fierce manner, and Hannah had to admit it was a little disgusting to watch. Eventually they stopped, and their foreheads touched. Both lovers smiled broad smiles, and Cati giggled softly as Wesley pecked the tip of her nose. They sat like that for what felt like ages, eyes closed, breathing in sync.

Eventually Cati's sensitive picked up the sound of footsteps. She opened an eye, scoping the room. She spotted a little girl crouched behind the wall, head just barely peeking out. "Hannah!" She gasped, pulling away from Wesley. His head swerved around Cati's, and his eyes widened at the sight of the girl.

"Hannah, what're you doing up? It's the middle of the night!"

"I… I had a nightmare, Wesley…"

Cati opened her arms and Hannah sheepishly climbed into her lap. Wesley knelt beside them, wrapping his arms around Cati's shoulders. "Aye, tell us about it." Hannah reluctantly relayed the events of her dream; the planemen swooping warehouse, leaving trails of blue flame in their horrifying wake. Cati and Wesley listened sympathetically, and when she finished, Cati held her close against her chest. "There, there, lass", Wesley murmured, "them planemen ain't coming anywhere near these walls. Hannah had eventually fallen asleep with some comforting words from the Watchers, and soon they were carrying her up the steps back to the Starry. Welsey laid her down on the simple bed nearest the door, and Cati tucked her in.

"She asleep?" Wesley asked.

"Yes. Fast asleep." She felt Wesley's toned arm around her shoulders, and she leaned her head into his neck.

"You know, lass… this could be us one day with our own little one."

"Keep thinking that, love, We aren't even married… but…"

"But what?"

"I like the idea of our own child. Maybe later on."

Wesley kissed her cheek. "Aye. For now, I'm right happy with this."
