They'd both quit their YouTube career years ago. There was no more stress about making videos, just an average life now for Hannah Hart and Grace Helbig.
They had a daughter, who was now 3 weeks old, and things were settling down into a peaceful daily routine.
Hannah would always say that November 27 was her favorite day of the year for one reason. That reason was their daughter, Emily. It was the happiest day of Hannah and Grace's lives.
Hannah and Grace sat on their couch. Grace was sleeping peacefully on one side, and Hannah sat on the other side giving Emily a bottle. It was this kind of quiet intimacy that Hannah enjoyed the most.
Hannah set the empty bottle on the floor next to the carpet, while settling down into a half lying down position, Emily cradled in her arms. She felt a tiny hand wrap around her index finger, she smiled. She leaned down and kissed her daughter on the forehead.
Grace stirred in her sleep, and then sat up. "Hey you." She said groggily. "You know what?" she asked.
"What, baby?" Hannah responded, readjusting the blanket she had draped over her legs.
"I like this more than YouTube."
Hannah smiled, "Yeah, me too, babe. Me too."
Grace eventually drifted back to sleep. But Hannah was still awake. She bent her head down and whispered to Emily, "I love you, kiddo. And I know Grace does too."
Then, she got up, and put Emily down in her crib. Hannah sat there, watching her sleep peacefully in her bedroom painted a pale yellow, with some photos resting in various places around the room.
Hannah's eyes fell on a photo resting on the dresser, she picked it up, and went back into the living room. She sat down on the couch, studying the picture in it's frame.
"What are you looking at?" Grace asked.
"The first photo we took here at home with Emily."
Grace leaned over, "It's nice. You look so happy."
"That's because you were there too." Hannah replied. She kissed Grace's cheek, then they drifted into a light, but pleasant sleep, snuggled up together.
