Prologue
~~At the Dursleys During the summer after Harry's 6 year at Hogwarts~~
Harry had come through the barrier to platform9¾ with a bit of an nasty shock it
seamed that Aunt Petunia had gotten pregnant and Harry now had another block headed
cousin to annoy him to no end during the summer holidays.
The Dursleys had been standing there looking around nervously like they always
did each time Harry comes home. When he did finally come through the barrier Uncle
Vernon scowled and started talking about how long it had taken for Harry to get there and
his face started turning purple after complaining until they got to Uncle Vernon's new
company car.
Dudley had started making nasty comments about Harry also. He noticed however
that Dudley was getting skinner as his 'diet' continued. Harry knew for a fact that Dudley
would go with his friends to the grocery store and buy all sorts of sweets for Dudley to
gobble down though.
Though when Harry came out of the barrier for the fifth time in his life Aunt
Petunia was different. She was holding a bundle of blankets to her chest with little hands
waving up towards her face. She did not even acknowledge Harry when he came over,
pushing his cart along with Hedwig hooting in her cage that was mounted on top of his
large overstuffed trunk. Aunt Petunia just kept on giggling at and tickling her little
bundle. Harry continued to look curiously at the bundle until they got to the car and
Harry had to unload his trunk into the back of the car.
Unfortunately Harry ended up being smashed between the baby seat and Dudley
on the ride back to the Dursley's house. Though Harry got to get a better look at the baby
who was fascinated by the owl that occupied most of the space on Harry's lap, seeing as
her cage did not fit in the trunk of the car, he took care in making a mental picture of the
new relative.
Harry looked at the baby taking in the picture that lay in front of him. The baby
had the same amber eyes his aunt and mother shared and the baby had light strawberry
blond hair growing slowly from her scalp. Harry figured that the baby was almost a year
old.
The baby did not, however, take after Uncle Vernon in the slightest though. Of
course she still had her baby fat but Harry was sure that it would diminish in time.
Aunt Petunia who had been watching Harry through the rear-view mirror finally
whirled around and in a very annoyed voice said, "What do you find so interesting about
my little angel?!"
Harry looked up his eyes still big from shock of the resemblance. "She...She looks
like me, kind-of" he trailed off for a second but quickly before Aunt Petunia could say
any thing he asked "What's her name?" Aunt Petunia scowled a bit. "Evra," She said
quickly before turning around to grimace in her seat. Evra. Hello, Evra.
