Feedback: Yes please! Constructive criticism is welcome, but please resist the urge to rip me limb-from-limb.
Disclaimer: If I owned Inuyasha, I'd be writing cannon, not fan fiction. But alas, I don't. Damn.
Summery: An alternate universe Miroku/Kagome drabble with hints of Inuyasha/Kagome.
Author's Notes: This is just a little scene I intended to include in another story I'm writing, but it didn't quite fit anywhere, so I made it into a drabble. Hope you like...
Inuyasha. She had called him Inuyasha.
Deep down, Miroku knew that Kagome was still in love with the half-demon, or rather, the memory of him. He had been able to ignore it for the most part, certain that she would eventually move on, as he had done with Sango. No use lusting after the dead.
Miroku didn't doubt that Kagome loved him, he wouldn't have married her if he had, but he also knew that he was her second choice. Tonight, her barely audible, post-sex whisper of another man's name reminded him of this fact. But he knew she'd come around eventually...wouldn't she?
