Authors Note:

Hey fellow readers! I've just recently finished The Sarah Connor Chronicles and I couldn't help but be captivated vy the entire story. When I found out it was cancelled I was very disappointed. Now I feel as if I need some closure to the show. The whole Cameron and John relationship was the best part of the show and now I feel the need to continue it. This upcoming story will take place after the season two finale. I hope that you guys will enjoy it!

The sun was bright. The sky was blue. An ordinary day, like everyother one. At least thats what you would think.

A woman stood out on a grassy plain in the middle of Pennsylvania. Behind was a small concrete building with one large opening. She was looking straight into the sky. Her face was composed but her eyes told another story. They were sad and weary with proof that she had suffred much pain in one day that most others would feel in a lifetime.

She reached into the pocket of her leather jacket to reveal a small photo. It showed a boy around seventeen standing in front of truck. He was smiling and his eyes twinkled while his long hair blew in the wind. It was at that moment her strong composure fell and she burst into fell to her knees and sobbed.

Sarah Connor, the mother of the great John Connor. It had been years since she last saw her son. He wasnt dead, she hoped. He was probably in a warehouse or underground bunker, where he would be safe. But she knew deep down he wasn't. He disappeared into the future and never came back. For years she fought hard to bring down what would cause the death of over 3 billion lives. It was an effort that did not pay off.

Sarah's watch beeped. 2:55 pm. She wiped the tears from her face and stood. She tucked the picture into her pocket and entered the building behind her. She pressed a large red button on a control panel near the entrance. Sirens went off as Sarah stood behind the doors. She could see the rockets soar through the sky. It had begun.

The large concrete doors slammed shut with a loud entered an elevator that led deep underground.

It was on that day it had began. On April 21st, 2011 at 2:55 pm, Skynet went online. It became selfaware and decided in less then ten seconds that humans were the enemies. It was that day that the war between the humans and the machines had began. But it was on that day that the machines had already won. John Connor no longer would lead the resistance to victory.

But Sarah refused to let that happen.
