The day had finally come. It was graduation day for Ulrich, Odd, Aelita, and Jeremie. They have been waiting for this day for four years, and now that it was here they could hardly believe it. Today would be full of tears, smiles, applause, memories, love, and joy.

Ulrich and Odd were in their dorm room for the last time. They were finishing the last little bit of packing they had left.

"Can you believe we're finally graduating?" Ulrich asked Odd, pausing his packing and sitting down on his bed.

"Not at all," Odd replied, chuckling, "I never thought I'd graduate."

Ulrich laughed and smiled at his best friend. He stood, about to resume packing, when suddenly his best friend spoke.

"So good buddy, what are your plans for the summer?" "Eh, same ol, same ol'. I'm probably gonna be focusing on my music, that way I actually have a chance when I apply to The Milan Conservatory next year." Ulrich said, sighing, looking down with a look of sadness in his eyes. The Milan Conservatory was his dream college, and the fact that he didn't apply this year because he thought he wasn't ready broke Odd's heart.

"How about you?" Ulrich asked looking back up at Odd. When he saw the huge grin on Odd's face he knew something was up.

"What's with your giant grin?" Ulrich asked skeptically.

Odd couldn't contain his excitement any longer. "You're coming to spend the summer with me!" Odd exclaimed.

Ulrich was in shock as he asked, "And my parents are okay with this?"

Odd vigorously nodded his head, "They were a bit unsure at first, but I managed to talk them into it," he said with his classic grin.

"This is fantastic!" Ulrich exclaimed tackling his best friend with a gigantic hug.

Odd had never seen Ulrich so happy, except maybe once. But Odd always loved seeing Ulrich happy. He'd do anything and everything for that boy, simply because he loved him. And he knew Ulrich would do anything and everything for Odd in return. The only thing that bother Odd was that he didn't know if Ulrich loved Odd the same way Odd loved him.

Ulrich spoke smiling, bringing Odd out of his thinking mode, "Today couldn't get any better."

"What if I told you it could?" Odd asked with a sly grin.

"Oh really now?" How so?" Ulrich questioned him, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, what if I told you that I sent in our applications to The Milan Conservatory and we both got accepted for next fall?"

"Well then, Odd, it seems you've proven me wrong." Ulrich said as he chuckled.

"Oh and did I forget to mention that you'll be staying at my house the whole year until we go to college and that I talked to some of the admissions people there and talked them into letting us have a dorm together."

Ulrich was in disbelief. "Odd," he started, "you're the greatest."

Odd bowed and proudly said, "Thank you! Thank you!"

Ulrich just looked at Odd, smiled, and laughed. Odd could tell Ulrich was extremely happy, which made Odd very happy.
