Swirly Glasses

It was like any ordinary, boring morning for Monet at the CC Punk Café. Honestly, Monet sighed. Why did Master pick such a name? It was such a strange name. It wasn't going to attract many customers. Except for the strange ones. Even the Pink Flamingo Bar and the Mizu Mizu Shop sounded more attractive.

Monet flipped her wavy, long, light green locks over her shoulder. At least the uniforms were pretty cute. It was a white-button up shirt with sleeves that stopped around the elbows, along with a spring-green vest and a short black skirt. She wore knee-high socks and cute, simple black heels to top it all off. Monet wore her swirly spectacles to help her see a bit better.

A slight ringing sound was heard at the door. Monet slowly looked at the customer with her chocolate brown orbs through her lenses. The man had short, messy raven hair, storm grey eyes, a goatee, caramel-like skin, and was wearing a fuzzy black coat, a yellow cotton shirt, spotted pants and dark heels. What kind of guy wears heels? But then again, Monet thought, the customers were pretty weird. And to top it all off, the man was wearing a ridiculous spotted furry hat.

"Good morning sir! What could I get you to start off your day?" Monet cheerily asked, along with adding a cute smile.

"You have strange glasses, Miss. I think you would look better without them." The man replied quickly.

Monet was a little annoyed at this. Couldn't the bastard just place his order, and leave her damn glasses alone? Monet sweat dropped.

"Sorry about that" Monet apologized, and took off her glasses "So what would you like?"

The man replied politely "Just a cup of coffee, please."

Monet wrote this down on her note pad. "Anything else?"

"That's it." He bluntly said.

"Coming up right away~" Monet practically sang.

Monet then made and poured his fresh cup of coffee in a white mug. She then picked it up, walked over to his table, and place it down gently. The man quickly drank his coffee.

"How much do I have to pay?" The man asked.

"That will be 100 beri." Monet replied.

The man handed her the money, and was about to leave, but stopped at the door and turned around. He then said:

"Miss, you look very cute without your glasses on."

Monet couldn't help but blush at this. And what she found was that the next morning, the man came back. He even came back the next morning as well! The green-haired girl smiled. Life wasn't so boring after all.
