Mindy was sitting up in a very tall tree, her teddy bear begging her to come down. She stubbornly and playfully refused smiling,"What' ll you give me if I do, Mr. Rubi?" She said lying on her back now stretch along a tree limb, she was quite petite, and her chocolate eyes shown child like, but deep and joyous. She smiled while braiding a small bit of her Raven blue hair, staring at it waiting for the small stuffed, and very animated stuffed bear's reply.
Putting a soft clothe paw to his clothed fur chin he pondered for a few seconds, looking at the ground brows were pointed down in concentration, then his expression lit up! "Oh! Mindy, what would you say if I gave you a...." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a red lolly pop."....Sucker!" He exclaimed profoundly holding into the air. It immediately grabbed her attention.
Sitting up right and ready to jump down, she was very skilled in doing this. A few more pink and blue leaves fell from the brach she shook when she moved. "Umm..." She pretended to think really hard, then replied."Okay." Quite simply.
The Teddy was mumbling to himself about how he should have run off with his fiancé Fransine to the circus while he had the chance. Mindy hopped down, and snatched it out of his hand. Giving him a raspberry ((the gesture with the tongue and that childish sound they make)), in return for it, she started walking through the tall Bluish grass that raised well past her knees, paying no more attention to the bear who was shaking his head, and padding towards her gravely.
"I just had to pick her, didn't I..." He said softly to himself. He forced a smile on his Creme white face. His Ruby red nose glimmering in the bright yellow light the came fro the sun that was larger than usual on Earth. He started to jog towards her, then when he reached her, and tried to catch his breath while grabbing her arm to make her stop for a moment.
She abruptly took her arm away from his grasp as he tried to get some air. She started running, as and evil grin took over her once pretty face, with an intentional mean look of disgust for the bear as she ran then faced the field ahead, running like mad. Just to make the little bear suffer.
Hint for next chapter :Mean little girl treating a poor little bear like that he doesn't deserve it...or does he? What happened in the past with these two? Will they ever be friends? Did she mean to be mean to him? We'll answer all of these questions in the next chapter! Dun, dun duuuuuun!
