Belladonna looked around the crowd, searching for six faces that she knew by heart. But the longer she looked, the more she gave up. Her family wouldn't come, they never did. Belladonna took a large breath and began to sing their newest song.

"You were once my hero,

my knight when I was alone.

How can you leave me here

with no one left to love."

The crowd began going wild, understanding that this song was sad and depressing like all the others, and they loved it. Belladonna smiled slightly turning slightly to look at each of her band members. There was Lilith, the piano and keyboardist. Draven played the lead guitar. Bade was on drums. Haven was backup singer. And Shayde played base guitar. This was Belladonnas family now, the ones she knew she could talk to, the ones who actually listened.

"You showed me the light in the darkness

You allowed me to follow my dreams.

You alone can heal my broken heart

You alone are my broken hero."

Belladonna stopped singing, and the piano solo began. It was soft and melodic, getting louder and more depressing with each passing measure. Lilith lived for this kind of stuff, playing in front of a crowd. Belladonna took a deep breath and prepared for the last few lines in the song.

"Come back to me, my broken hero.

Come back to me, my fallen angel.

Come back to me, my scarred guaridan.

Come back to me, my loving father."

With that, each of the band members stood and bowed to the crowd, then walked off stage.

"Bella, did you see that? They loved the song!" Haven smiled at Belladonna. Haven was the first of the members in the band, having been friends with Belladonna since they were in the nursery.

"Yeah, they did, didn't they?" Belladonna said, as she walked toward her dressing room and shut the door.

"Whats with her tonight?" Draven asked, looking at Haven.

"Her family didn't show again. She was counting on it this time. In the letter, her mom said that they would try to make it, but the divorce was getting rough, so I guess things got really bad." Haven looked toward her friends room. "Sometimes, I think she's all alone, even though the rest of us are here. She just needs someone to talk to that doesn't know her like we do."
