We hurriedly walked down the aisle of King Cross Station, dragging our trunks behind us.

"Normal people don't do this, Ronald. People actually get places on time." My mother, Hermione, said from in front of us.

"Really, now? I've never known anything different." my father said, catching up the rear and hauling our owls.

I gave him a slight smile as we finally passed the sign that said nine.I glanced both ways before plunging into the brink column, and into platform 9 ¾. I waited as my family came through.

I took my black owl that squawked around in his cage from my dad. He leaned over and hugged me farewell. Before I pulled away, he caught me and whispered into my ear, "Rose, please try to make some friends this year. You're keeping way too much to yourself."He pulled back and looked at me, waiting for an agreement.

"I'll try," I plainly smiled and gave me one last quick hug before fiddling with Hugo's outrageous foot tall hat.

"Rose, dear." I turned towards my mother and she took a step closer to me. "You're a beautiful girl, Rose Weasley. You deserve to go out there and find a boy. But please, be careful, alright?"

"Mother, I won't find a boy. It's impossible to try to scope out a nice, and handsome man at our school. Besides, their all too dimwitted anyway."

"Look what good came from a dimwitted young man." She paused and when she recognized the confused stare I wore, she threw her arms up. "You! Please try!"

Again, I stated in the same frame of mind, "I'll try."She smiled as she kissed my cheek. She patted my back and I walked quickly towards the train. I waited and made sure my brother got on, before I jumped on I walked down the aisle I looked in each compartment and saw people laughing and talking amongst the end, there was an empty one.

I slid open the door, stashed my things away, and curled up on the seat. I had a herbology book and I was going to sit and day dream, like I had been ever since I had left, about my magical days ahead
