Yata had been yelling at Saru all day.

Needless to say, his voice was totally roached.

This did not help Yata's mood. he was irritated that his throat was hurting, as it usually didn't happen, and lately Saru had been pissing him off even more than usual if that was even possible.

The blunette had been on Yata's mind more and more often. with every thought of him, came a pang of longing; which made him increasingly more and more irritated.

He didn't want to need Saru. All he wanted was to bash Saru's face in. Which was exactly what he planned on doing.

so that's ho Yata came to the decision that he would go out of his way to find Saru and beat the living hell out of him. Finding Saru wasn't as hard as he thought.

All he had to do was walk right up to the Blue's headquarters. He didn't even make it through the gates before a group of Blue's intercepted him.

It just so happened that one of the Blue's in the group was Saru.

Jackpot.

"oi! Sa-" He cut off sharply with a hacking sound. Geez! could a sore throat really hurt that bad?

Saru sighed and turned to the other Blue's. "Clearly not a threat. I'll deal with Misaki."

The other Blue's turned toward a man with light brown hair, who must've been leading the group. He gave a nod and the group dispersed. Saru turned to yata.

"Hello Mi-sa-ki," he taunted. Yata said nothing, but his lips curled menacingly.

Saru raised an eyebrow. "where are the war cry's? the insults? or have you finally come to realize how pathetic your insults are?"

again Yata said nothing. Saru was beginning to feel creeped out. Yata just kept staring at him not uttering a word.

"Misaki?" he said.

Yata still said nothing. he simply raised his hand and pointed at his throat. "what?" Saru asked.

Yata jabbed his finger at his throat again incessantly. "Your throat?" Yata nodded. "does it hurt?" Saru asked. Yata gave him an are-you-freaking-kidding-me look.

"I'll take that as a yes." Saru sighed. "Honestly Misaki, you need to start taking care of yourself for a change. wait here." he said, and turned towards the Blue headquarters.

Yata blinked. could that have been... No surely not. He must've heard wrong. for a moment there, it sounded like Saru was concerned. but that was impossible. Saru didn't care about him. if he did he wouldn't have left!

Yata stood there awkwardly waiting for Saru to come back. "why am I waiting on him?" Yata thought. "I'm supposed to be bashing his face!"

Saru reappeared with a bottle in his hand. Yata looked at it warily. Saru chuckled. "Don't worry." he said. "I'ts just honey."

Yata raised his eyebrow as if to say "Honey? why do you have a bottle of honey?" Saru sighed exasperatedly. "For your throat, Idiot. It'll help." he held the bottle out towards Yata. Yata shook his head and backed away.

"Oh? I suppose Misaki will have to have some sort of motivation." with Saru opened the bottle and poured some of the honey into his mouth. Yata watched him suspiciously.

Quick as a flash Saru leaped forward and grabbed Yata by the back of the neck. Before Yata had time to process what was going on Saru's mouth was on his.

Yata's eye's widened in surprise. Saru's tongue darted forward and pried Yata's lips open. Yata was aware of something sweet and syrup entering his mouth, soothing his burning throat.

The two of them stayed like this until Saru was sure Yata had swallowed all the honey. Yata pushed him away with a gasp.

"See? That wasn't so bad now was it, Mi-sa-ki." Saru said triumphantly. Yata put a hand over his mouth and looked away, for he could feel himself blushing.

"hmph." was all Yata managed to say. he noted how much better his throat felt. Not that he would ever admit it.

"well," Saru said with a laugh. "looks like I win."
