Sarah sat looking out the window watching the snow fall softly atop the labyrinth. She loved the quiet calm that a snow day brought to the place. All the goblins were hidden warm and snug in their houses, swirls of smoke coming from their chimneys. She took a deep breath and wondered where Jareth had gotten to. He should be with her enjoying the pure bliss of the day. It wasn't often they were snowed in so well that they had nothing other to do than please themselves.
She stood and stretched from her window seat and headed to the exit as the door opened of its own accord. Standing before her in all his kingly glory stood Jareth with a mug of steaming liquid in each hand and a blanket draped over one arm.
"You weren't planning on leaving me on this perfectly chilled day were you Precious?" He placed a warm kiss on her slightly parted lips, slipping the mug in her hand.
"I was on my way to look for you," she smiled sipping the tea.
"And now you have found me," his eyes sparkling. "Lets have a seat and enjoy our time."
He took her hand pulling her back to her recently vacated seat, wrapping himself around her he pulled her back to lean against him. He threw the blanket around them both and settled in to wile away the hours with his queen.
A short for a friend. Hope you like it.
