Damon's break up with Elena had left him with one desire, blood binging. So, being typical Damon, he had been doing just that. Somehow he had ended up at Matt's house party, thinking it would be good hunting grounds. And boy was he right. The place was crawling with dumb, horny, tipsy blondes. But one not so dumb, not so tipsy brunette had caught his eye. A tall, muscular, young and tattooed child of the Seraphim. Damon wasn't usually attracted to other members of the male species but this was the first one he'd found he couldn't resist since his fling with Enzo. The Shadowhunter had two more by his side, both gorgeous women, one brunette and one redhead, whom Damon would have loved to get a bite of if he hadn't been so entranced by their escort. Damon started towards his object of affection but Stefan, recognizing the oddity of the Shadowhunter's presence there, cut him off. Stefan walked up and shook hands with Damon's eye candy. He waved his hand to the right for someone to join him. Elena stumbled to Stefan and landed against his side roughly. Stefan introduced Elena to the Shadowhunters with a smile on his face which quickly faded as Damon approached.
"Darling, go get Caroline and Tyler. And if you can find Matt without too much trouble bring him too," Stefan mused. Elena mumbled an okay while staring fondly at the redheaded Hunter. Damon stood next to his brother arms, crossed.
"So all you're here for is to see how many vampires live here?" Stefan questioned.
"More or less. Who's this?" said the Shadowhunter.
"My older brother, Damon. Damon, this is Alec and Isabelle Lightwood and Clary Fray. Shadowhunters, come to check up on our little town,"
"Well hello. It's a pleasure," Damon said, not even bothering to make eye contact with anyone but Alec, who held his gaze just as intensely.
"Is there somewhere privet we can go," Clary questioned, ignoring the partying filth that was occurring around her.
"Upstairs study," Tyler said appearing at vampire speed with Elena and Caroline behind him.
"Guys! Wait up," Matt said running up behind them, huffing and puffing. "It's hard keeping up with vampire speed."
"What significance does this mundane have to our council here," inquired a golden haired, golden eyed Shadowhunter, who had appeared quite suddenly from the kitchen, dragging Jeremy by his shirt with Bonnie clinging to his hand.
"Jace!" shouted Clary. "Don't drag people like that!" She swatted his tattooed arm, just hard enough to make her point. Damon saw Elena make a move to free Jeremy from Jace's grip, but Stefan stopped her and whispered a warning in her ear. She found her place next to Stefan again, arms crossed.
"Easy love," Jace said to Clary. He released his grip on Jeremy who immediately wrapped his right arm around Bonnie protectively and moved them to stand next to Tyler
"What's this," Alec questioned Jace.
"A witch and a Hunter. I ask again, who's the mundane?"
"Matt. He knows about all of us and he's a dear friend," Stefan spoke up.
"Jeremy! I thought I told you you couldn't come to this party," Elena spat, furry in her eyes.
"Well Bonnie was invited so she brought me as her plus one. Besides our lives are too chaotic for you to try and keep me from a good party," Jeremy retorted.
"I believe we need to start over with introductions," said Jace plainly.
"I agree. The black haired one has offered us his study. Lead the way," Alec said, pointing a seraph blade in Tyler's direction.
