The Sick Day

Hey guys! I am literally writing this at like 11:57 pm. I just had a wave of inspiration being the crazy Fairy Feet I am. ;) I was my own inspiration as I was a little sick when I wrote this but I'm still going to school due to blackmailing friends. *cough* Corinne *cough* Saku *cough* BTW, this fic is after the The Last Olympian.

LifeGaza: Please let me have them! *makes creepy puppy dog face*

Rick Riordan: Nooo! They're mine!

Corinne: Uhhhh, I don't know about these two but Rick Riordan owns Percy Jackson.

LifeGaza: NOOOOO! YOU SAID IT! *pretends to faint but fails and lands in a puddle of mud*

Annabeth

Annabeth was sick. Not too sick but sick. She was lying down on her bed. She had a runny nose and a fever and a sore throat and a headache. She was pretty sure it was the flu that was going around. She decided not to go for breakfast. After all, she didn't give this flu to anybody else. Particularly a certain green-eyed boy.

Annabeth smiled despite herself. Ever since she and Percy had started dating all she could think was about him. His adorable, cute and goofy grin, his messy black hair that seemed untamable, his beautiful eyes. Oh yes, she knew she was getting it bad.

Feeling drowsy again, Annabeth decided to sleep. Maybe, if she feels up to it, she'll go to her classes. Right now…maybe not.

Percy

Percy was woken up by the blearing of his alarm clock. Groaning, he tried to shut it off but only succeeded in murdering the poor clock.

"5 more minutes. Please." He mumbled. (A/N: SO RELATABLE!)

Percy was woken up again by the sound of the conch horn. Muttering curses under his breath he changed his shirt. Today was gonna be one of the days he was gonna be late. Annabeth was gonna kill him.

Percy got a stupid lovesick smile on his face. Annabeth. That name itself brought that smile on his face. He couldn't help it. She was too beautiful.

Snapping himself out of his lovesick thoughts, Percy headed towards the dining pavilion.

1 hour later

Percy was really worried. Annabeth hadn't come for breakfast. She hadn't come for monster-fighting class. That was worrying. Percy decided to ditch his class and go looking for Annabeth. What if she had been kidnapped? What if she had been killed in her sleep? What if she had been crying? What if...? Percy's thoughts stopped drifting away to weird places as soon as he saw Annabeth lying on her bed, sleeping (maybe).

"Wisegirl…"

Annabeth slowly opened her eyes and widened them.

"Percy! What are you doing here? Don't you have monster fighting class?"

"What are you doing here?" Percy asked.

"I was a little sick so I thought I'd stay in for the day." Was Annabeth's simple reply.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Oh."

"Percy, do you think you can get me some hot chocolate?"

"Sure…" Percy replied

Percy got up and got some hot chocolate from the dining pavilion. When he got back Annabeth was missing. Soon, he heard the washroom door clicking open. Annabeth came out looking really flushed.

"I think I should stay here with you." Percy said.

"But…I'm sick."

"You think that can stop me?"

"Not really."

Percy just smirked. Annabeth yawned.

"I'm going to sleep."

"Okay."

"Don't leave me." Annabeth said

"Never"

The next day

Percy woke up with a headache and a runny nose and a fever and a sore throat.

"Oh gods!"

And started again
