Death is but the next great adventure.

You had an action packed-filled life, with Titans and the constant fear of your life, with danger and mortality at every turn, but once you died, you were filled with a kind of peace you didn't know during life. You had no fear about leaving this world and travelling to the next, yes, you were sad about leaving your friends and family behind, but you would see them again, right? Hopefully they would have accomplished their goals that were always far above your own, and they would die happily and peacefully in their sleep, unlike you.

You weren't envious of them.

They had many more years to come of terror and stress and murder and titans, and you were sad that you couldn't be there to help them through it.

They were strong though.

They were leaders.

They could do it.

Ah, but now it was time to leave, all the pain was gone and the only thing you could see was black as the world of colors faded away to nothing.

At least you told Jean that he was a good leader, you knew he would need it for the future.

Your eyes became blank, and you knew no more as the deafening sound of Titans's roars became silenced.

You welcomed death as he greeted you.

I don't own Shingeki no Kyojin.

This is going to be a story focusing on Marco. I really wanted to put a spin on the 'reincarnation' idea and decided 'well, how about Marco and how he goes through the different lives but he's the only one who can remember anything about his previous life, but almost none of his friends are ever in the same lifetime so every life he has to go find them and make them happy?'

Each chapter (or two) is going to be focusing on one of his lives up until the twenty first century, and they're going to be longer then this prologue, I promise.

I hope you enjoy, and for everyone asking 'JeanMarco?' yes this will have JeanMarco but it will be friendship along with romance. This will have pairings but that isn't the focus of the story.
