WHAT does that girl think she's doing!?

If she doesn't want to lose a finger, I suggest she step away from Percy…NOW!

Not that I like him or anything… 'cause I don't… I just really don't want to see some girl hanging all over my friend. She's not even his type! Stupid Aphrodite girls…

Oh my gods! If she gets any closer they'll be breathing the same air! That's it! I've had enough!

I grab my bow, nock an arrow and release it a few inches above her head, embedding it into a nearby tree. Running over, I plaster a worried look onto my face.

"Oh my goddess! I'm so sorry, Clara! I didn't see you there! I have to be more careful! Someone could really get hurt." I say with a fake sense of conviction.

She gives me a sugary smile. "Oh, it's alright, Annabelle. I was just talking to Percy here about going swimming later and then maybe we could find something fun to do in my cabin afterwards." She purrs, clinging to Percy's arm.

"Actually…" I say, "I'm teaching Percy a little bit of archery later. Sorry."

The smile fades from her face, but before she can say anything, I grab Percy's arm and drag him off towards the practice field.

He knows better than to say anything as I go off on my tangent. "Really, Percy? Clara?! What have I told you about Aphrodite girls?! They're crazy! You can do so much better than that! Annabelle. Bunch of airheads… You should be glad I missed!"

His eyes go wide. "Wait… you shot at her on purpose!?"

"Uhh..yeah. Yeah, I did."

"Annabeth.. are you jealous?" I can hear the smile in his voice.

"What?! No!"

"Yeah, you are! Jealous that you can't have…" He strikes a 'king-of-the-mountain pose, "All of this!"

I roll my eyes and shove him backwards a bit. "Whatever, Casanova. By the way, I was serious about that archery lesson. You suck at archery.. I'm gonna fix that even if I have to make you shoot until your fingers bleed!"

He groans and I smile. Payback time!
