So, for Christmas my sister knew my love of medieval stories and that I love video games. And on that faithful day I was given the video game series Fire Emblem.

I'm going to be honest with you guys, I have never played it before. I mean, I have at least heard of it from other friends and when I first got super smash bros Brawl a decade ago, but I never truly experienced it before. Until now!

I was given Fire Emblem Birthright to play and I was hooked fast. The gameplay, story line, I just fell in love with it. I then bought Conquest and played the other half of the story and though it was more challenging, I enjoyed it as well. It's also the biggest reason why I've been absent.

And then I found Revelations.

This shit hit me hard. Everyone is friends and I don't have to feel guilty about anything.

And then it got me thinking, there is shockingly low amount of Fire Emblem x Ruby stories that have made it far. Or at least that I know of. So, I want to give it a try. I'm going to have this story be more based on Revelations since I think we don't need any heartbreaks. Or... at least not yet.

Enjoy!

In the Emerald Forest it was a peaceful and glorious Saturday.

*BOOOOMM!*

Well almost.

In a clearing in the middle of the forest five Beowolves were surrounding two familiar individuals. One was an Orange haired teenager know as Nora Valkyrie, the pancake loving, large hammer wielding, leg breaking, demolitionist of team JNPR. She was laughing maniacally to herself as she faced off against her animalistic opponents,

"Come get some!" she yells at the Grimm reloading her grenade launcher, Magnhild.

"Uh, Nora. I don't think taunting the enemy is a good idea!" Next to her was a scraggly haired blonde boy no older than Nora was. This man is Jaune Arc, the paladin of team JNPR. And, their leader. But currently they were having a problem with each other.

"Oh, would you shut it already! This is the most exciting thing that's happened today after your dumbass 'team building' exercise!" Nora growled at Jaune.

They hardly listened or cared about him. It all happened back during the second week of classes. It was after their last day of practice when Jaune and Pyrrha met each other on the roof of the dorms. They were having an argument and Jaune let slip of his transcripts, Pyrrha didn't take the news well and proceeded to yell at him how he shouldn't be there at Beacon and how he wasn't fit to be their leader. She stormed off the roof that day.

Didn't exactly help when Cardin made his appearance and explained how he heard everything that Jaune told Pyrrha and threatened to blackmail Jaune into being his new lackey. This went on for a few days until the trip to Forever Fall, when Cardin threatened to release Rapier Wasps at Pyrrha, Jaune stopped Cardin. Then there was the business with an Ursa and saving Cardin.

Turns out after saving Cardin, things only got worse.

Cardin didn't appreciate the idea of being saved by Jaune and ratted out his secret to the entire Beacon campus. It hardly took long for the news to spread throughout the school like wildfire. For two weeks almost every person in Beacon was out for his blood, his friends included.

*Past*

The night when Jaune's secret was out his team didn't react the best way. When Jaune walked into his dorm after some solo training he was hit by one of Yang's punches, all RWBY and NPR were there.

Yang gave him one of her signature punches whenever she was mad at someone, she didn't care if he was once a good friend of hers. She just really wanted to punch the fucker. "I don't ever want to see you near my sister again!" She yelled with crimson red eyes.

Weiss didn't even spare him a glance but Jaune could feel the frosty malice radiating off the Schnee heiress. "I knew you didn't belong in Beacon. This just proves how much of a desperate fool you really are."

Blake never said anything. She just gave Jaune a look of contempt. She had to abandon the White Fang, everything she believed in behind to get into Beacon. And all he did was use forged transcripts.

Ren and Nora were both equally upset about his lack of truth. When they were together in the wild for so many years, they learned that not everyone could be trusted. So, whenever they found someone who seemed trust worthy, they normally always turned their back on the two. Jaune was just another one of them.

Pyrrha glared at Jaune. She was more hurt by the fact of him not coming to his teammates for help or at least talk to them about this issue.

Ruby was though, conflicted. On one hand Jaune was her first friend in beacon. The only one who came to help her when she was laying down in the crater on the first day. They had a talk one night when Jaune was outside his teams' room and she helped him. On the other hand, though, he lied to her. Not just her but her friends and team, even everyone! How much was everything he was said even true?

Before she could think more on the subject Yang's hand quickly grabbed hold of her hood and she was dragged out of the room and back into hers, her team having enough with Jaune being near them.

*Present*

Nora had now finished off the rest of her half of the Beowolves while Jaune was still with three more. Nora not wanting to bother with Jaune started to stroll out of the clearing

"You can do it, Jaune! If you don't... well, death could be a good thought" she said not caring for his wellbeing.

Jaune now being pinned own on the ground by an alpha Beowolf watched her as she walked away and disappeared into the thick forest. His eyes grew to the size of dinner plates seeing as he was left for dead.

'She just walked away! And did she say death was better for me!?' Jaune screamed in his mind as the Alpha's jaws were getting closer to his neck. 'After everything I been through, the hell I'm being subjected to, and I die from betrayal!?' Jaune slowly loses the will to even put up a fight with the Beowolf. 'Might as well'

Jaune's arms go limp and stop pushing back the Alpha's jaws. A sickening 'CRUNCH' filled the air as the Grimm's teeth tear into skin.

Blood began to pool on to the ground around the Beowolf as it licked its teeth tasting the blood. Below it was the still alive body of Jaune Arc with his neck being torn open, he was in agonizing pain as his aura was trying it's hardest to close the wound. But it wasn't fast enough. The Beowolf went for a second bite at the blonde and grabbed his right arm, it then lifted it up its mouth and started to shake his body side to side. Blood was flying everywhere as Jaune's body was being tossed around like a ragdoll.

Jaune's eyes begin to slowly close as his life was coming to an end. He saw bits and pieces of his armor being thrown off his body as it flailed around. He was then thrown to the ground and was trampled on once again by the Alpha as it attacked to finish the job. Jaune closed his eyes for the inevitable.

But it never came.

Jaune slightly opened his eyes to see why the Grimm didn't attack, and he was met with a very strange sight.

A bright orb of light stood only a couple of yards from where Jaune was, chains made out of what seemed to be glowing energy shot out from it and wrapped themselves around the three remaining Beowolves. The chains then suddenly tightened and the Grimm were crushed by the force of the chains, dissipating into black dust floating in the wind.

The chains reverted back into the glowing orb, and in replace was a single stream of energy slowly making its way towards Jaune. Jaune didn't do anything to try and stop it and laid still as the stream grew closer to him.

'If this kills me, then what a horrible death after a horrible life' Jaune thought, accepting his fate.

The stream of energy connected with its self with Jaune and slowly pooled throughout his body. Jaune witnessing this noticed how he no longer felt pain or how tired he was. He looked at his arms which showed the wounds on them began to close and heal. The large gash in his neck swiftly left as soon as it appeared. But his aura wasn't being affected for some strange reason.

The stream of light soon stopped healing Jaune as he sat up right off the ground. It slowly slithered back into the orb of light and disappeared.

The orb began to lose its light and started to take shape. The orb slowly began to make the shape of a human, and slowly gained curves to indicate of its gender. Jaune noticing this nervously looked away with a blush feeling embarrassed watching what could be a woman. The light was now gone and so was the orb.

In its place was a tall, graceful woman in a tight pink dress, it had a large gap in the chest area which showed off most of the woman's bust. Her skin was a silky pale with a very nice figure. She had flowing vibrant green hair as it flowed down her back like a small river, a crown piece decorating her hair. With pointed ears and gorgeous eyes she glanced at Jaune.

Jaune could only stare at the mysterious beautiful lady that even put Pyrrha in the backstage.

"You, courageous warrior of a distant realm" The woman spoke in a soft and motherly voice "I beg for your help"

Jaune shook himself out of his dumbfounded state, "uh… m-me?" Jaune asked pointing at himself.

The woman nodded.

"Who… who are you?" Jaune asked the woman still curious of who she was.

"The woman gave him a small smile and gave a small curtsy, "Forgive me. From where I am from, I am known as Naga, a Goddess of my home world." Naga explains, but it only grew more questions than answers.

"Waitwaitwaitwait. You, are a god?' Jaune asked with a bewildered look on his face.

"Yes, child." Naga answered.

She half expected for him to then get on his knees and start to pray at her feet. But the blonde man did not do such a thing. It was a first for Naga for she was so used to the normal greeting.

"I am aware of the amount of questions that you have for me but they must wait." Naga said as she brings her hands to her chest, "I have crossed many worlds looking for someone, a warrior from another world, to help the people of my world. A powerful and dark force is lurking within the lands, pulling the strings from the shadows, throwing chaos within the lands." Naga then starts to step closer to Jaune, when she was in front of him she grasped his right hand and held it with both of hers. She then bows to a knee looking at Jaune in the eyes, he could see the desperation in her eyes.

"I no longer hold the strength to help my subjects, for my power was needed in the past. I now turn to you, Jaune of Arc, to help my people when I cannot." Naga had tears running down her face as she couldn't believe everything would turn to this.

Jaune was silent for a few moments as he looked at the goddess literally begging to him for help. He was pretty sure it wasn't normal for a divine entity to turn to mortals for help. Jaune thought of it for a few moments. He would have to leave Remnant behind and might not return for who knows how long. Would the others wonder where he was? Would they worry?

Jaune's mind went back to the events he went through for the past two weeks.

No. They wouldn't. There would be no search party, no missing posters, nothing. Just the feeling of having a failure out of their lives.

Making his decision Jaune looks to Naga with a fire in his eyes. "I'll do it, your lordship. I agree to help your people"

Hearing this Naga smiles at Jaune and stood back up, still holding on to Jaune's hand, "Thank you, brave warrior, I will forever be in your debt."

Jaune scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, "Well- I- uuuhhh… you're welcome. But if I may ask, why me? I'm hardly strong enough as it is, how can I be of any help?" Jaune asked.

"It was because of your soul. Souls hold the foundation of one's true being, and yours is the one that shows the most promise within the multi realms (I made it up, so what? Sue me) you hold the bloodline of many past heroes. That is why you were chosen."

Naga then clasps her hands together and is soon surrounded by a magical aura,

"However, to traverse into my realm, you must give up something of close affection to. Whether it be physical or nonphysical." Naga states as she waits for Jaune's decision.

Jaune thinks of his belongings he has that could be used. He no longer had any close friends and his family was something he wished to forget about. Jaune pondered until he felt a weight on his hip, looking at it revealed to be Crocea Mors, his family's ancient blade. He took it when he ran from home to use it as a hunter. But that dream was gone, and he wanted nothing to do with his past. Jaune then unhooks Crocea Mors from his belt and held it over head, and proceeded to thrust the point end of the sword into the tuff ground, damaging the weapon as it leaned in an odd way.

"I give up Crocea Mors, the last link I have to my past, to traverse into your realm."

"Then be ready, warrior of Remnant. For you will not return to this world forever" Naga says.

Jaune clenched his fists, "I'm ready."

A bright light then surrounds the knight and goddess, and when the light fainted, they were gone. The clearing filled with nothing but Jaune's blood and a damaged sword in the ground.

*Nohr*

Within a land of Nohr, the skies hardly having any light to them as eternal darkness spreads through its lands, held a fortress.

This was the Northern Fortress of Nohr as it helped protect its borders. Not many were housed within its walls but the many servants and soldiers, but also its longtime resident.

Prince of Nohr, Corrin, has lived within this fort for most of his life. The silver haired, red eyed boy was ordered to stay within this fort by his father, King Garon, until he was ever called to the kingdoms head castle.

Corrin was at the moment busy on the rooftops of the fort as it was early morning for the land of Nohr, though the skies said it was late at night. On the roof top, Corrin held within his grip an iron sword as he panted with sweat matting his hair to his head. Across from hi was his older brother, Prince Xander. Whom held his legendary blade, Siegfried.

The two were in a sparring match as they did whenever Corrin's four siblings came to visit him. Xander needed to know if Corrin was ready for an upcoming event that could change everything.

"Again! Come at me again!" Xander yelled at his tired brother, he needed to be hard on him or the boy would never learn.

Corrin hearing this held up his sword one last time as he charged towards Xander. He made a few quick slashes at Xander, who in return deflect said attacks and went to stab at Corrin. Corrin seeing this swiftly used his reflexes to quickly turn his body to the right as Xanders sword passed by. Xander widened his eyes at this move and was wide open for Corrin's follow up attack of an upward slash.

The attack hit Xander who took a few steps backwards to regain some space. He was impressed with Corrin's growing skills. Xander then swiftly kicked Corrin in his stomach who collapsed to his knees and a coughing fit. Xander sheathed his sword and walked towards his downed brother.

"Excellent work today Corrin, you were much better than last time we fought" he said proudly

"Cough, cough… you think?" Corrin responded as he stood back up, "You still managed to beat me, even when I used most of my power into that fight."

Xander patted Corrin on the shoulder "Yes, I am sure, Corrin. But next time you need to learn to conserve your energy when you attack your enemy, not use it all up on one strike." Corrin nodded to his brother's wisdom. He was the one who taught the boy everything when it came to combat and strategies.

"I agree with Xander on that, Corrin. You still have much to learn" From the entrance of the rooftop a man who was a little older than Corrin walked towards them with a sophisticated walk.

"Leo, I see you came to watch me spar with Xander again?" Corrin asked his other older brother. Leo smiled,

"If you mean spar, you mean watching Xander beat you silly as you stand doing nothing? Then yes, I'm here to watch you two spar" Leo said with a tone of sarcasm.

Corrin rolled his eyes at his brother, "Yeah, yeah, say what you want about me but just you wait Leo. Soon I'll be strong enough to leave this place and beat you in a fight" Corrin challenged as he messed with Leo's collar.

"H-hey! Quit screwing around with my attire!" Leo complained as he tried to fix his crooked collar. Xander and Corrin laughed as Leo was making a fool of himself trying to look good fixing his clothes. Two other voices of laughter came from the side as two young women walked towards the three boys.

The first was a tall woman with violet colored hair with very revealing armor that showed off a lot of her womanly curves. This was Corrin's older sister, Camilla. And the other was a short young girl with two long pigtails on her head, a short staff was stationed on her hip of her black and white battle dress with pieces of armor. She was Elise, Corrin's one and only younger sibling.

"Oh Leo, being the lovably goof as always, huh" Elise joked as she continued to laugh at Leo's misfortune. Leo pouted in response as he finally fixed his collar.

"I'll get you for that Corrin!" Leo said being only slightly annoyed at his brothers antics.

Camilla stepped between the two brothers before they could trade fists with each other. "Now, now, you two. No need for any conflict with each other. Corrin, sweetie, apologize to your brother" She said with a sweet smile on her face.

Corrin refuted at first but gave in to Camilla and gave Leo a small hug, Leo just stood still feeling awkward at the situation,

"You too Leo, give Corrin a hug" Camilla ordered.

Leo rolled his eyes as he too gave Corrin a small hug.

Camilla now satisfied with the brothers outcome smiled at the two, "Very good you two, there's nothing better than sibling love"

Both boy's rolled their eyes as they separated.

Elise turned to Corrin, bouncing in place, "Corrin, Corrin! We have big news for you!" she said very excited for whatever she had to say.

"Oh, do you now?" Corrin asked being curious "Then pray tell, what is this big news for me?"

"It's-"

But Elide was then interrupted as Xander suddenly tackled her and Camilla to the ground, surprising everyone.

"GET DOWN!" he yelled.

Corrin and Leo swiftly did so, and suddenly a bright object fell from the sky and flew right over their heads. The object continued to fly until it hit the ground of the forts western fields leaving a large crater where it was.

Slowly the five siblings got up from the ground and ran to the edge of the fort to see the object. Though it was too far away to see it, smoke was coming from where it landed. Xander turned to his siblings. "Corrin, Elise, Leo! You three stay here! Camilla, call your wyvern! We're going to get a closer look!"

Camilla nodded in agreement as she brought two fingers too her lips and whistled loudly, a single wyvern came flying down to the princess as she hopped on to its back, Xander doing the same as the wyvern took flight towards the crash site.

As they got closer, the two siblings on the wyvern could see that Nohrian soldiers were already there as they landed. Xander drew his sword and Camilla brought out her steel axe as they walked closer to the crashed object.

They slid down the craters surface into its deeper parts. When they were right in front of the object they realized it wasn't just an object. The smoke cleared and instead of an object was a male boy in tethered clothes. He had blonde hair and seemed to be in bad shape due to the fall.

"What… who is he?" Camilla asked her brother as she got a closer look.

Xander stayed silent as he inspected the boy who seemed to be the same age as Corrin.

"Camilla, bring the guards here. We're taking him back to the fort for treatment. Then, we'll decide what do with him"
