'No, I am not helping you hide Malik's books.'

'Please?' Ezio whined. 'Come on, it will be fun. The look on his face will be priceless.'

'We are Assassins, Ezio. We are beyond childish pranks and jokes.'

Ezio crossed his arms and pouted. 'You're no fun.'

Altair ignored him.

Ezio scampered into the Bureau, which wasn't far. Malik was out; a stroke of luck. Ezio took all of the books and maps in sight, stashed them in a bag and hurried out, hiding in a sky garden nearby to watch the fireworks.

After about half an hour, he heard Malik returning. He stayed quiet as possible, trying to stifle nervous giggles.

Sure enough, he heard Malik yelling furiously soon after he entered. 'EZIO!'

Ezio bit his tongue so hard he drew blood in an attempt not to laugh.

'Where is he? Where is Ezio?' he heard Malik growling to someone, probably Altair. 'I am going to kill him!'

'He chooses the most unoriginal hiding places,' Altair told him. 'He is probably nearby. Wherever a prank is being played, the culprit normally stays close to watch the explosions.'

To Ezio's dismay, Altair and Malik began to check every sky garden and haystack in the area. 'Merda,' he cursed. He grabbed the books, got out of the sky garden and ran as fast as he could.

'Ezio! Get your ass back here!' Malik yelled and ran after him.

Ezio continued running, but eventually, he came to a dead end. Helplessly, he looked on as Malik advanced.

'Give me those back and no one gets hurt.'

Taking the joke a step further, Ezio emptied the bag down the side of the roof. The maps and books poured onto a startled crowd of people.

This was a mistake.

Malik grabbed some silk from his pocket, and somehow, with one hand, tied Ezio's hands to a pole hanging above him. The knot was strong, as was the silk, and no matter how much Ezio struggled, he could not get free.

'Let me go!'

Malik simply smirked at him and walked off.

Malik then forgot about him. He only remembered three days later when Ezio was half-starved when Altair asked him.

'Hey, did you find Ezio yet?'

His reply was, 'Shit.'

Please. Requests. My. Brain. Hurts.

Also sorry for no updates for the past few days. My internet decided to give up. -_-
