No More
By Heather Martin
A lonely cow feeds in the manger
Where the babe weeps no more
The old carpenter shop is closed and forgotten
Where my Lord and his earthly father work no more
A wave laps upon the solemn shore
Where my Lord walks no more
A single grain of sand rests in the boat
Where My Lord sleeps no more
An empty fishing boat floats on the open sea
Where my Lord preaches no more
The hill covered in olive trees is empty forevermore
Where my Lord prays no more
An old wooden cross stands on an empty hill
Where my Lord bleeds no more
The long forgotten tomb lies barren
Where my Lord lays no more
God's only Son was taken to Heaven
Where my Lord reigns forevermore
