No Reason To Stay
A Megaman © Capcom Fanfiction by Namida
It was probably the end.
It didn't matter, for it meant the tears to end and the sadness to disappear.
Everytime he had to destroy, it burst to himself, getting a bit more hurt day after day. He realized it was too unfair...
Why to keep on living if it was that way?
He no longer had a reason to continue. With a weak blink he decided to stop fighting for a life that will only treat him baddly.
His fist closed lightly, and he sighed, waiting already for his system to turn off... It wouldn't hurt, at least...
Dr. Wily's armies seemed endless... For every one he managed to eliminate, another appeared, rather stronger than the last.
It was so hard, not being able to find peace. Not being able to love.
His heart... The one he discovered to have after his brother's loss... What was the point of using it, after that...?
Why waste his heart on people who just didn't care...?
Everytime he tried to approximate to Dr. Light, his creator, all he found was the usual analysis talk...
Cold machines, codes...
Why to create him so similar to a human, if he would still be treated as a biroid?
He had a motivation at first, after the first battle he had to go through, after Dr. Wily managed to kill Blues by inserting a bomb into his structure .
He wanted revenge. He wanted so bad to cause Dr. Wily as much harm as he could, to blame him for all his suffering, to enjoy every second of his downfall...
Every robot he destroyed remembered him about his purpose... To destroy Dr. Wily for what he had done to him.
Dr. Wily was so guilty... He owed Megaman big. There was no way he could ever forget the tears he cried after realizing he wouldn't be able to speak to Blues again.
It was so heavy inside, even to remember hurt...
But...
His body felt so tired... The pain made him remember the time Dr. Wily cheated on him with an android and managed to escape before to detonate Skull Castle. It felt the same being trapped between the ground and the ruins.
That time Blues had accomplished to rescue his brother, he remembered well his worried face... as if he had feared for too long.
After the red warrior found Megaman, the relief reflected behind his shades and a sad smile drew on his face.
He wouldn't stand up anymore. Even if he knew there was still a little strength left to...
At first thought, he believed it would feel better if he destroyed for revenge... But it didn't. At the contrary, he didn't enjoy the fights, he hated them.
He hated battles, because they all seemed pointless...
His eyes closed slowly... Not anymore... Death would fix it.
And he felt so, so nostalgic...
