Sorry I haven't submitted anything in awhile! I had a bit of a writer's block and still do to a point. This was hiding in my computer. So hope you like.

It was 2 am.
The glass dangled from his hand, slowly slipping to the floor.
It had been the fifth night in a month, he'd woken up and she was gone.
The note hidden in her dresser, had told the whole story. She was seeing him, even after he'd told her not to.
The angry animal in his head wanted to roar and scream. He wanted to lose all traces of humanity he had.
But he couldn't, only because of the two sleeping figures in the next room.
Ron Weasley watched as the door opened, letting in the lioness herself.
Bushy hair created a mane of gold in the light, and lips quirked in a confused smile. Hermione set her bags down, gazing at her husband.
Her eyes found the bottle besides his seat, taking in the disheveled home. Books had been pushed to the ground, pages scattered throughout.
"Ron…what did you do?" she whispered harshly, bending to pick up books. "What if you'd woken up Rose or Hugo? I can't keep explaining this to them!"
Her voice choked up, eyes welling but she still maintained the familiar bookworm-ish look.
No she wouldn't turn this into something he had caused!
Hermione's eyes widened in shock as the liquid splashed into her face, her eyes drifting to the two tightly closed doors.
Moments in silence passed as she waited to make sure they hadn't woken. Raising her hand, it smacked across the pale face.
"What is wrong with you? I can't do this anymore Ron!" she hissed, tears mixing with the alcohol on her face.
Ron's blue eyes were memorized, watching the movement, frozen in time. His voice refused to come out, his throat was closing up.
"I FOUND THE NOTE!" he shouted, voice blaring through in a rush. Hermione jumped back, in surprise or fear, he did not know.
"What letter Ron? You just tell me, now!" she shouted, poking him in the chest.
The monster roared in his chest, making the world pound and shake. The glass dropped to the ground, his hands closing in on her wrists.
"I saw the note from Victor…your bloody shag friend!" he hissed out, voice like fire.
Hermione's eyes widened as she struggled to get away from Ron.
How stupid had she been? The most talking Ron and her had ever done in school was arguing. Why had some part of her ever thought this would work?
"How can you not remember Ron! I told you, he wanted to buy his wife a present. I helped!" she shouted, voice strained.
He had been this way for a while and it made her heart break.
"I know you're lying Mione! I called that woman and she thought the same thing I know!" his voice cracked and whispered away.
His body collapsed into sobs, hands clawing at his face.
Sighing, Hermione crouched besides him, taking him into her arms.
The door clicked open, her head turning to catch sight of both her children. Their eyes were drooped with fatigue, a question on both faces.
"Go back to sleep now. Your father isn't feeling well," she murmured, watching the door shut once again.
"You cheated on me….on me. Hermione Granger, the best witch of her age…cheated," chanted Ron quietly, rocking in her arms.
Eyes welled with tears, Hermione looking down.
"I'm sorry Ron."
