Arriving at the tower after a long week of patrolling in the plaugelands, the Titan made his way from the hanger calmly, walking past a few guardians who were either leaving or entering, or just chatting. Some have noticed the tall guardian cladded in Black armor.
Wearing the Iron Saga Helm, Cosmoclast Gauntlets, Spektar Pandion Plate with red chroma glow underneath and Dunmarchers Greaves, the soldier made his way to the main part of the building. Some even took notice to his Titan mark, it was ripped and bloody at the end, the mark of the Six Fronts.
He honestly looked like a typical Veteran Guardian, but the thing that many noticed about him was the weapon on his back, Outbreak Prime.
The Titan stopped walking as he came across a familiar Hunter in white and red armor, standing by the railing where he would usually relax at. He raised an eyebrow under his helmet and approached her.
"Hey lady, that's my spot." He says, his voice deep and strong, sounding a bit angry but he clearly wasn't.
She heard his voice and turned around to him, raising an eyebrow. When she saw who it was, she gave a slight chuckle. She had natural beige skin color, brown hair that went down to her shoulders and brown eyes. This woman in fact looked pretty damn attractive to him.
"You know, you're not that intimidating." She says, smirking at him as he walked over to her and stood by her side, putting a hand on the railing.
"Tell that to the other Guardians who think I am." He sighs, shaking his head as he stared at the view.
She looked at him and then at the view. "How was the plaguelands? You were gone for quite some time." She asks him.
He shrugged. "It was...fine. The only annoying this was dealing with the constant use of the Forge, some of these Guardians need to learn to not insert a perfected offering if they're not ready.
"So you had to play babysitter for most of them?" She asks, chuckling.
"In a way, yeah. Like how I had to do with you." He glances at her, chuckling to which she rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, I had everything under control." She defends herself, crossing her arms and looking away.
"But you gotta admit, you're thankful for getting help from me." He adds on.
She continued to look away, "I refuse to answer that question." She stubbornly says.
He chuckled again and then just stood there silence with her, the sun slowly setting on the City as night was slowly creeping in. The tower, the traveler, everything of this view was so beautiful. In a way, with these two standing next to each other, it looked like one of those cliche romantic scenes. After a few more minutes of silence, the two enjoying each other's comapny, the Hunter finally sighed and then stretched.
"Whelp, I think that's enough relaxing for the time being. Ready to go back to work?" She ask, looking at him.
He glanced at her, raising an eyebrow. "I just got back and already you're wanting to me to come with ya, Jaylyn?"
Jaylyn shrugged, "Just suggesting if you wanted to, you don't have to if you don't wanna."
He looked at her and then looked at the view, thinking about a few things, mainly that he's been a Guardian for this long and that she was practically his only friend and teammate, all the others that he trusted or worked with, either died or vanished.
"Atlas?" Jaylyn asked, making him snap out of it as she was now standing slightly closer to him, looking up at the Titan. He snapped out of it and looked at her.
"Yeah. Sorry, I just dozed off for a second, let's go." He nods, turning around and walking ahead, her following up with him as they made their way to the hanger. Their ships took off slowly out of the hanger, Jaylyn leading the way and Atlas flying behind her, their ships leaving The Last City and flying off to another part of Earth.
