Spencer Reid thought his secret was safe. But he was oh so wrong. When he was at the coffee shop near his apartment that morning, a rather pretty girl had slipped him a napkin with her name and number on it. She had pale, porcelain skin, shoulder length ginger hair. She walked off, a slight bounce in her step, with Reid staring after her. He looked at the napkin. Her name was Karen. Karen Smith.
Reid wasn't one for dating. But Morgan and Garcia kept pushing him to go out and find a date. So, he thought he would call her, whenever he got the chance. He pushed the napkin into his shoulder bag, accepting his coffee from the guy at the counter, mumbling "Thanks…" Little did he know, the napkin was poking out of his bag just a little teeny bit…
Later at the BAU, Spencer was sitting at his desk, rapidly filling out paperwork. Including the files that Morgan and Emily slipped into his pile. His fifth coffee in two hours sat on his desk, already half gone. Emily was seated at the desk across from him, working on what was left of her stack of files. Morgan walked into the bullpen area, holding his own coffee. As he was walking by Reid's desk, he just happened, purely by coincidence, to look down, at Reid's bag.
"And WHAT is this, Pretty Boy?" he said, taking the napkin out of the bag. Reid spun his chair around, his eyes wide.
"Morgan!" he squeaked. He made a grab for the napkin, but Morgan held it farther away.
"Karen Smith… My man! Finally exploring the world of dating?" Morgan grinned, waving the napkin around. Emily looked up her papers, interested with what was going on.
"Doctor Spencer Reid, getting a number from a girl?" Emily was astounded as well.
Reid's face turned bright red, and he stood quickly, snatching the napkin from Morgan. He stuffed the napkin in his pocket instead, keeping Morgan from taking it again. Still grinning, Morgan turned towards Garcia's tech cave.
"Just WAIT until Garcia hears about this, Pretty Boy!"
Reid sat back down in his seat, slouching in the chair, his face burning red.
